Seriously though, I do have a horrible need to defend myself when people say this stuff. I don't get FPs all the time, I just post a stupid number of times. If you throw enough shit some of it will stick.

I'll stick 1,000,000 moon credits on HappyToast each way please,
and 1,000,000,000 Interglactic dollars on Archie each way please.
I CAN'T LOSE!
I do love BBD's stuff, but I don't suspect that it will be as easily "viewed" as Archie and Toasty's. What would be ace is this pic from toasty, with Archie's on the back as a postcard dropped through letterboxes.

But as I said earlier, this is a long race. I expect that certain people who one might not expect will come up with some stunners. I think it is gonna be the best compo since Crabs vs. Elephants.

Come down and check them out mate
Without wanting to sound to pessimistic, there only about three hundred of them left in the wild, which I guess means their moment is up in the great time scale of things; whilst these additions to their gene pool has been critical, we are going to need a minor miracle to reintroduce them back into anything remotely resembling their former habitat, which is simply going to come into conflict with humans. So twilight's peak for this species :(

The current head of the Bird section used to jump the fence into the zoo aged fifteen every weekend
because he loved the place so much. So when he later applied for a job, this was naturally noted; and he now, decades on, now runs a complete section
and when you speak with Mick regarding avians, the passion and enthusiasm simply is there to behold! No one one really works here for glory, just utter devotion to conservation, certainly not our saleries

Without sounding like someone who is on a downer on young people,
yes. It is. You haven't realy experienced the effect of governments as yet I assume, and nor should you have.
However, as the old maxim goes, from small acorns do great oak trees grow. No, you won't see a change overnight barring a miracle/catastrophe. However, by spreading the word, you can make a difference.
You for example could go away and talk to a few friends about it who get it, they could go and talk to a few friends who get it, etc, etc. The biggest problem that people have today, not just young people, old people are the same is the apathy and the acceptance of the Status Quo.
If it weren't for us just accepting it, there would be no Francis Rossi or Rick Parfitt.
Jokes aside, yeah, it might not work, but wouldn't it be better to fail trying to do something you believe in than to never even bother and bitch and moan about how things are?
