TO MAKE SURE WE DON'T LOSE ANYONE, THE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS IS AS FOLLOWS:

5pm: Meet at mine, Storthes Hall Park.. HD8 0WB, park anywhere you can find as parking is often an issue, just don't park in the reserved bays round the side.
IF YOU ARENT DRIVING YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE THE 4:30 BUS FROM OUTSIDE HUDDERSFIELD UNI.
Although if you ask nicely I will do some shuttle trips from town to here in my car.

5:30: FIREWORKS. We will be doing these in a field some distance from accommodation, if you arrive late, you can get the field by walking from the bus stop at mine up the road then turning left onto the path AFTER the path with the astroturf at the end of it. Keep walking above the football pitches, and through the woods to the cricket field beyond, we will be there.
7:00PM- BUS INTO TOWN. We will be going into town on the shuttle bus from the stop at mine, to arrive at the stop in town at 7:20.

7:30PM- HEAD OF STEAM PUB. Directions below. If this place is jammed we will probably go to the PARISH (directions also below).

2AMish- TAXIS BACK TO STORTHES. For those staying

SUNDAY- sunday lunch at about 12pm.

FLOORSPACE

Right, number of drop outs and such have resulted in me basically having a fiar bit of space int he flat for peoples. EvilDeathSandwich can also accommodate 3 or 4 people.

SECOND! A VENUE ADDITION... I think it would be good to go to The Parish pub afterwards when most people have arrived. If you arrive after we have moved on, it is down the hill on the other side of the main road from the station entrance. Carry on all the way down and you will find it on the right hand side, on the end of the last row of buildings before you get to a big club called Shout.

Time for another Huddersfield bash following the surprising biboardal success of the first, now I know where I'm living I know that the plan can go ahead!

So, drinks.. fireworks.. b3tans.. Sunday dinner and the jewel of the North that is Huddersfield. Perfect.

Where?
Starting at my uni accommodation, postcode HD8 0WB at around 5pm. Once all fireworks have been spent and booze has been consumed, we shall make our way into town, to the Head of Steam pub.. which is joined directly to the train station.

No but.. WHERE?
Ah. Huddersfield is an accessible little bugger, so here goes:

- From the West along the M62 you want Junction 23.
- From the East along the M62 you want Junction 25.
- From the South you want Junction 35A of the M1 (then the A616, and then a sharp turning you'll probably miss as you turn left and go over yourself onto Penistone Road (A629).

But I'm not driving?

In that case get the train to Huddersfield Station, if you are going to the pub it's on Platform 1, and also accessible to the right hand side of the main entrance.

If you are coming to the fireworks, you will need to walk out the main door and travel roughly diagonal right through town until you come to the university. There is a map inside the train station.
At the university by the mini roundabout and main reception is the bus stop, opposite the Blob Shop on the other side of the road. The bus will cost you £1, and will bring you to the accommodation complex. Buses are on the half hour from the stop on a Saturday.

Where can I stay?
I will have limited crash space at the time, but will be able to accommodate around 6 people at most. There are a number of Travelodges and Holiday Inns locally.. all quite cheap because noone wants to stay here.

What do I need to bring?
The first part of the night needs fireworks, I shall provide some, but I'm relying on everyone else bringing a few to make the display adequate. Booze to drink in the woods would also be a bonus.. and it being November at sunset it will not be warm, so warm clothes will be needed. people staying at mine will need sleepy stuffs.
Booze in town is pretty cheap, and plentiful, so won't be toooo hard on your pocket.
