Hopefully Darren will post something here that is more eloquent, but generally, while we're all arguing the toss about trivialities, he's out there giving it some, especially to sHell. His funding has fallen through for his latest jape so is in need of some direct help using the link above. "My plan is to install an anti-Shell greenwashing showroom inside a single-decker biodiesel-powered bus and bring it to COP26, as well as future protests, festivals and to park outside Shell marketing events/corporate headquarters.
I've already started work on the project but due to one major funding source event being cancelled I now need your help to make it happen.
My name is Darren Cullen, I'm an artist based in south east London where I run the Museum of Neoliberalism and my hobbies include pissing off Shell.
Due to previous legal threats from Shell. So
cattle methane will destroy the planet. Therefore we should stop eating cattle and eat the vegetation ourselves. Approximately 1 billion cattle in the world. Humans are approaching 8 billion.
Seeing as I myself (not vegan) already expel as much gas as an average bovine, I can't help think if we all went veggie, the planet would be doomed.

To be fair, there's that many of us now that we've doomed the planet already.
Personally, I think we should just stop eating cattle because we now have ethical, viable alternatives that don't require us to inseminate, breed and slaughter cattle just to put a dinner on our plates.
That being said, I'm not one of those militant vegan wankers trying to push their agenda onto every single person that enjoys a steak. But I do think there are an awful lot of people out there that keep themselves ignorant about where that steak comes from. I wonder how many of them would be able to meet the cow they were about to eat and put the bolt into its head themselves? I know I wouldn't have been able to do it, and that was long time before I became 'one of them'.

I don't think we've doomed the planet just yet. Even if we wiped out macro flora and fauna, there'd still be billions of tonnes of active biomass here for billions of years to come. Even if we burned all the oxygen!
I'm not a militant veggie and I've never met one. I meet plenty of militant meat eaters though, people who have literally pushed meat onto my plate and gleefully tricked me into eating meat at parties/weddings/funerals.

I agree with this.
I’m pretty extreme, I think, on how anti-vaxers should be dealt with. Banning unvaccinated people from state schools and universities would be a sensible first step IMO. However this does seem to be nasty revelry in some morons’ deaths. People can have idiotic views and not be all round bad eggs. There are also people who loved these imbeciles. And people who loved them even though they vehemently disagreed with their inane opinions. This just adds to these people’s grief. So it’s a ‘no’ from me.

do you mean same number who died from covid?
no it would be quite difficult. it is quite a rare occurrence for a vaccinated person to even require hospitalisation, and extremely rare for them to die from covid, because of the protection that the vaccines have been proven to offer. This why the icu's in countries with high vaccinations rates are almost exclusively filled with unvaccinated covid cases, a lot of which are fuckwit anti-vaxxers
