Lunch! Lunch, before we die of boredom!
Lentils and mozarella and pesto and stuff for me. Shut up, I've shifted a stone in the last 5 weeks.

Alt: following on from Personality Horse's shameless self-prostitution, what gameshows would you like to see revived? And what modern spin would you put on them? I'm thinking Bob's Full House, presented by Bob Mortimer, with the twist that Vic Reeves is rigged with explosives that will go off as soon as Bob is slightly annoying.
(, Thu 24 Nov 2011, 12:17, 84 replies, latest was 14 years ago)
Last day of chicken and mushroom pasta today, which is good
Starting to get a little bored of it, tbh.

Alt: They should bring back Funhouse, only make it so that there's a kids version, and an adult version. Why?

Because I always fucking wanted to go on that show.

They could do a thing where you have to run along a track, squatting and then picking up dildos with your bumhole and/or fanny (no hands)....
...and then deposit them into a box. And if you get the golden one, you get an extra 30 seconds. They could be set to different types in increasing dificaulty set to different kind of vibrations and movements.

WINNER SO FAR
I was pushing 14st 3lbs just over a month ago. Came as quite a shock as I hadn't really noticed it going on. Cue treadmill, smaller portions and more fruit.
(, Thu 24 Nov 2011, 12:26, Reply)
Blimey.
You don't look that tall in your profile pics either.
Good work fella, keep it up!
(, Thu 24 Nov 2011, 12:33, Reply)
Cheers mate
I'm 5'11", hence the nasty shock. My only defence is that I can (genuinely) say a fair amount of it is muscle, thanks to the dancing, but another stone needs to come off before I'll be happy.
(, Thu 24 Nov 2011, 12:35, Reply)
I've sacked this off until post-Christmas
Beer, pies and chocolate are currently more important than fitting trousers
(, Thu 24 Nov 2011, 12:33, Reply)
This is going to be the first Christmas where I make an effort not to just stuff myself with everything available to me
Because I'll be back over 14 stone and will have to manage my appetite again in January.

at least 2 cigarettes and a coffee
Lunch of champions...

An adult version of funhouse as above but we would need to get new "twins" and their dances would be different.

Also 15-1 there is a dirth of quiz shows that just ask lots of questions in the shortest time possible.
(, Thu 24 Nov 2011, 12:27, Reply)
First mention for a quiz show my Dad was on (five times, in fact)
15-to-1, not Fun House. Sadly.
(, Thu 24 Nov 2011, 12:30, Reply)
Fifteen to One was the finest quiz show ever to grace our screens
and William Gladstone Stewart and his lovely wife Laura, the finest husband and wife team to present any show.

The American version is better
And by 'better', I mean 'far more satisfying when you see them crippled'.
(, Thu 24 Nov 2011, 12:32, Reply)
I'm not sure how they do it
but somehow the American version seems like a slick, well-produced cartoon of a comedy game show, whereas the British version looks like a shabby affair with idiots falling off things while a paddy bint squeals.

I'd quite like to do it, but I don't think anyone needs any more ammunition to laugh at me, tbh

I think it's less that strikethrough's on t's looks rubbish and more the fact it would be painfully unfunny.

Lunch, is it? Lunch?
Oh, I don't know. Something, I suppose. Whatever I find in the cupboard.

I had planned on losing a stone before xmas, but I seem to have put on weight instead. I'm a bit frightened to get on the scales, to be honest, but there's no point worrying about it now. I made a conscious decision to eat like a fat munter, so I can hardly complain when I start to look like one. I'll do something after the new year.

Aaaaaanyway......
Oh, and bring back Crackerjack.

Alt: The Crystal Maze /ac
(, Thu 24 Nov 2011, 13:01, Reply)
Hullo, is this the thread for people who do not wish to talk about (or too) Wormulus?
My lunch is some re-hydrated vegitable cous cous snatched between sending the wrong emiail to the wrong client and getting on with the work I don't want to do, but which seems more urgent than what is actually more important. what fun.

Tonight I am hoping to get drunk if at all possible and then maybe sleep without reccuring work-related anxiety dreams.
