I'm saying it doesn't matter what I think, it matters what people on average think.I imagine that more people have enjoyed reading that trash than have enjoyed reading Heart of Darkness. I also think that a smart persons enjoyment isn't fundamentally worth more than a horny housewifes enjoyment.
A proper counter argument would be that sales don't necessarily link with enjoyment. Also metacritic style review aggregators are probably a better measure than pure sales. But if you just want to call me a spastic rather than trying to form a decent argument go ahead.
