I need a new interesting website to browse through the day.
B3ta, Jeff Bridges and my holiday hotel site are just not enough.
Any recommendations?

Aye,
my girlfriend of the time liked him and I took her to see him as a birthday surprise. It was around the time that "Like To Get To Know You Well" was released as a single and on the back of the tickets was printed "This ticket is sold on the express condition that the bearer gets to know well at least ten other members of the audience."
He may as well have put "Yes I am a cunt and you're right to hate me."

Don't be a cock
I've been there plenty of times and I can type perfectly well with just one hand and half a kidney.

One of my best pals
is a fucking expert on old clothes. American workwear, vintage army stuff, 70s pimp suits - you name it. He's definitely the fellow to ask, so I shall, as I fancy getting one too.

You can never have enough clothes
I am living proof of this fact.

A friend's site
byshaw.com/default.htm
He's a former US Marine turned journalist writing about Afghanistan. Very well written and interesting, and the guy himself is really cool.
And when he was a guest speaker at a local college, I heard there wasn't a dry seat in the house.
EDIT: On Facebook too: www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Ben-Shaw/141725242940?v=info

Addressing mostly female students, yes.
I met him through a friend and got to sit in on one of his talks, then hung out with him after for a bit. Tall, muscular, classically handsome, hazel eyes, articulate, witty, the sort of guy other guys love to hate but also wish they could be.
I told him a story related to me by a Viet Nam vet and he cracked up, and we ended up hitting it off pretty well. Very impressive guy, but he's the first to admit that he's been damaged by his war experiences.

Bukowski- Nirvana
not much chance,
completely cut loose from
purpose,
he was a young man
riding a bus
through North Carolina
on the way to somewhere
and it began to snow
and the bus stopped
at a little cafe
in the hills
and the passengers
entered.
he sat at the counter
with the others,
he ordered and the
food arrived.
the meal was
particularly
good
and the
coffee.
the waitress was
unlike the women
he had
known.
she was unaffected,
there was a natural
humor which came
from her.
the fry cook said
crazy things.
the dishwasher.
in back,
laughed, a good
clean
pleasant
laugh.
the young man watched
the snow through the
windows.
he wanted to stay
in that cafe
forever.
the curious feeling
swam through him
that everything
was
beautiful
there,
that it would always
stay beautiful
there.
then the bus driver
told the passengers
that it was time
to board.
the young man
thought, I'll just sit
here, I'll just stay
here.
but then
he rose and followed
the others into the
bus.
he found his seat
and looked at the cafe
through the bus
window.
then the bus moved
off, down a curve,
downward, out of
the hills.
the young man
looked straight
forward.
he heard the other
passengers
speaking
of other things,
or they were
reading
or
attempting to
sleep.
they had not
noticed
the
magic.
the young man
put his head to
one side,
closed his
eyes,
pretended to
sleep.
there was nothing
else to do-
just to listen to the
sound of the
engine,
the sound of the
tires
in the
snow.

Ah.
Nirvana is my favorite of Bukowski's poems. I first encountered it being read by Tom Waits.
