What was the last thing that you built?

(, Tue 23 Jun 2009, 14:49, archived)
My wardrobe, I think.
Or my computer desk.
(, Tue 23 Jun 2009, 14:50, archived)
Is that a desk that can compute?
I mean the computer desk and not the wardrobe here.
(, Tue 23 Jun 2009, 14:51, archived)
No, it just sits there with a load of crap on it.
It hasn't been used much.

A circuit to amplify the output from a photodiode,
and convert it into a TTL compatible trigger pulse.
I didn't design it though, I haven't got a clue how it works.

(, Tue 23 Jun 2009, 15:23, archived)
Yeah, Abeno Too. The first one is up by Museum Street., I've been to pretty much all of them.

Zipangu was the best. Dead quite, really cheap and you just felt like you were in Tokyo. Food was amazing. You could have a 2 course meal for 2 including 4 beers and it would only be £20.

I'm trying to find a new place. Matsuri is great but that is £120 per head :S
(, Tue 23 Jun 2009, 15:27, archived)
EEEK!
I don't like paying more than 30 quid a head, but I am a Northerner.

(, Tue 23 Jun 2009, 15:06, archived)
The noodles are grown in the pots.
You know the little bits of stuff you find at the bottom in a sludge? That's potting compost.

that's pretty awesome,
I've suggested we mount our old laptop on the wall like that, it's a tablet PC where the screen turns round so it's pretty much just a case of finding some way to mount it.
(, Tue 23 Jun 2009, 15:19, archived)
