# What an amazing group we have here.
I've never seen anything like this before. I've always been impressed with the kind of people who comprise this place. I often wish it were possible to be more than just an electronic presence.

As usual, I am inspired by you all.
(, Mon 17 May 2010, 23:59, archived)
# To be honest
I'm not sure there are many other b3tans who would inspire these outpourings. But Jessie had taken the time to get know a lot of us, invited us to her and the Prof's bashes and made us feel so very welcome - even as newbies still finding our feet. She was a very genuine person and I just cannot believe I am talking about her in the past tense.

# When sometimes it's easy to mock or revile this rather odd place,
There comes a moment when people really do show their quality.

And those moments are worth more than the praise of the praiseworthy.
(, Tue 18 May 2010, 0:13, archived)
# I first noticed this
When Suzi Perry from the gadget show lost her unborn baby. Rather than the typical comments the feeling was that of loss and support for her.

TO sum up.
I'll call you a cunt on the board; but happy to buy you* a pint and wish you no harm.
