I REALLY CAN'T DECIDE
BUT BE CAREFUL WITH THAT STUFF YOU POST

OH LINKS BOARD, LINKS BOOAARRD!

A friend of mine just got in the news for a bomb scare in Bath, he went to a fancy dress party and lost the bomb, which apparently he did a very good job on. We'll see how he gets away with that...

You appear to be able to type, indicating that you can read.
Sadly, you appear not to have read the FAQ.
I can only conclude that, since one is given about a week before one's account opens, specifically in order that, and directed so, you can familiarize yourself with the site, you're an absolute fucking muppet.
Now begone with you, silly muppet, and don't come back until you're au fait with the rules.
Rules are very, VERY important.
VERY important.

That B3tans eagerness to jump on anyone who dares post a link on the main board pushes peoples posts of their work even further down the board than the original post.

that lurkers' eagerness to moan about this contributes to exactly the same outcome.

and a new post pushing somone elses work off the board entirely.
It's all about the finite number of threads and not about the length of each thread.

Isn't the issue the number of original threads, as opposed to the number of posts, of which only a certain limited number remain outside the archive?
EDIT: ah yes, much as this^ says.

so when I went out for lunch and spotted a baglady rummaging in a skip I felt quite charitable and thought it only fair that I dragged her under the railway arch before jamming her back passage full of dead cats.

witnessed varied levels of abuse directed at noobs for failure to abide by the FAQ. Maybe it's time we took a closer look at ourselves. Firstly, who reads the FAQ on a site unless they have a question? "Site use instructions" would put out a much clearer message. We don't have an image board, we have a message board, so why are we always upset when someone only posts a message? We have "Post a new message" not "Start a new thread" yet we are affronted when someone posts a new message and it starts a thread. If these anomalies were corrected maybe we wouldn't have so many people afraid to post. Let's take some responsibility here, we're not a government FFS.

THE MOOD AND WILL AND WHIMSY
OF THE BOARD IS QUITE UNIQUE
IT CAN'T BE FATHOMED, BOSSED ABOUT
EXCEPT FOR ONCE A WEEK
THAT TIME IS ON A TUESDAY
WHEN THE NEW RECRUITS ARE IN
WE RIDE THEM ROUGH WE SHAKE THEM DOWN
AND THEN THEY ALL FIT RIGHT IN
NOO-BIE TUESDAY
THAT DAY THAT WE ALL HOPE
WILL BRING US MORE THAN CDCs
AND UNCROPPED SHITTY TOAP
