Don't think they had fractint when I did those. Thanks for the condescenscion, anyway. If you have any other suggestions for how I should have fun, just let me know.

oh with out wishing to talk down to you 'condescension' is spelt like that.

Fractint's been around for a verylong time. Of course, UltraFractal's probably better now (although it lacks some features), and Xaos has lovely realtime zoom.

I wrote the program in about 1989, which was why I was ironically bragging about the high-techness of it. I haven't used it lately, but I think it'd be fun to play with if my new computer would run Basic.

you've got the wrong site mate - we don't deal with that stuff here. And if we do we keep it private.

Though to be honest... if you don't know much about Linux, GIMP is available for Windaze.
I can't remember where from, and I just woke up so I'm not likely to remember for a while... but it is available for Windaze as I'm using it on Windaze as the optical mouse is on Windaze and the mouse on the SuSe box is kinda crappy.
Other than that though, if you want to install Linux now you know GIMP is available for Windaze, respond to this saying you do and give me the size of your HDDs and RAM.

I only use it because the optical mouse is on my housemate's windaze machine.
And yes, that IS the only reason.

Main reason is for my CompSci degree...fed up with sh*tty Java interface in Windows...

i just installed mandrake 9 on a seperate partition to my windows xp last week - and its very nice and sets up a boot manager automatically if it finds a windows system anywhere. youre better off making a 5 or so gig partition for it, so if things go wrong you dont lose all your data (and where linux is involved its easy for things to go wrong!)
saying that i've only booted the linux install twice - it can't handle multiple monitors at all, bit pants hardware wise really..

What's grey and smells of curry?
John Major's c*ck

Why did John Major have a stomach ache?
He was always eating dodgy Curry.

Why did Edwina Currie get piles?
She spent hours sitting on the John.

What's the difference between Margaret Thatcher and Edwina Currie?
One f*cked the miners, the other f*cked the Majors.

*spam alert*First real day in my new job. Not going to abuse b3ta straight off, but I thought Id let you know that the company I am doing work for is predominantly a streaming company, from production to hosting. We've just signed up as a real networks partner, and so my job is to plug the real systems. I know a lot of you work in design/webbased businesses, so if you have any streaming/webcast etc needs, give me a shout. *end spam*
