women have been running the home since the sixtys... and as a direct result most kids are fat thick and think they can do what they want and get away with it.... Think about that !!!

I actually have that kind of approach to things, I do the whole Continuum Concept thing. I have 3 boys, don't have stair gates or safety equipment.
I first came across this idea in this book.
Alfie Kohn is worth a read too.

Hello b3ta! So, I got an email today - someone bought my website's .com brother. And they want around US$250 for it. So, I decided to do a quick check on the chaps who want my monies - turns out they forgot to register claimthisdomain.co.uk - so I did it for them.
Except I've no interest whatsoever in selling it back to them. Whoever comes up with the best website to put on claimthisdomain.co.uk can have it free for 2 years. Preferably something anti-domain squatting and er, derogatory.
If you're not interested in webdesign at all, feel free to have a look at the lovely mail they sent me, and my response.
If youre not interested in that either, move along. Nothing to see here.

1) use it to host a Goatse (yawn)
2) Do a screen print of their site and host it. (so it looks just like their website but you can;t click on anything/ type in any searches)

Would mind hitting the article a digg, that'd be great. A digg fp would probably generate a hilarious amount of hatemail and whatnot to the pricks in charge.

Leva's polka, and it's ace, despite being in (i think) Finnish and thus complete gibberish to me.
There's a video somewhere on the net of them on some tv show, I think I ripped the mp3 from there.

I love when she says, "They're not going to hurt you," and the dogs start protest-barking as if to say, "No, seriously, you don't understand..."

Those dogs are obviously far more brilliant and less irritating than she'll ever be.

But I didn't understand it all. VDV, which they are promoting, are the Russian Airborne Troops. The spend some of their time prancing about Moscow in stripey jackets and playing in fountains. Two of them jumped the queue for a bus I was waiting for once. I decided not to comment, for fear of being beaten up.
I think I recognise the geezer who's singing. He's no paratrooper, just a pop singer. The fraud.
The chorus:
VDV - Hello, from the sky! An ultramarine tilted beret.
Tunic? with epaulettes with a wave and the sea
Forever landing troops will be engaged to the sky.
VDV - How many victories? From the parachutes a white bouquet.
The canopies are soaring with the rainbow of peace
Glory to the landing troops:
Honour and praise! [this sounds like "chest heave for all!"]
