I need to buy...
a new pair of trainers/daps/pumps/runners

Bar trainerstation, can any of you recommend any other good online retailers?

I'm a Adidas man usually.

Cheers,

Mullered.

I can remember when all this was fields
and I was a fine figure of a man with hair and everything who had women throw themselves at his feet just to prevent him leaving.

What are your fondest memories?

Right...
I posted a track by my band on here a few weeks back.
Over the weekend my drummer got our myspace sorted out, so if you fancy an afternoon slice of rock/metal-type-stuff, we've got three tracks up here:

Because ISIHAC is back tonight, and in the true spirit of Humph...
Let's have a right-royal rollicking round of Mornington Crescent. Please, remember that the 1884 Half-Scrotum is banned at present.

You go first, I am chair.

Are you ...
1. In London (or within easy distance)
2. Like Moby
3. Free tomorrow evening

If you can answer "yes" to all three of those questions, drop me a gaz. I've got two tickets here that I can't use - either FREE to a good home or if you want to make a donation to Combat Stress, that'd be a nicely karmic thing to do.

High tempo and high energy music
Can anybody recommend some high tempo music that I could find on spotify (or might have in my CD collection but not thought of)?

Nothing I've been listening to has quite been right (mostly the mars volta, pendulum, slipknot and SOAD). Mezmerize and Hypnotize by SOAD are the closest I've got to the kind of thing I'm after but there are still too many slow bits and I don't want to keep listening to those on repeat!

I realise that this could be an impossible mission but I'm not too fussed about genre if that helps.

Today I am 44 and 1 day older.
I have a drink related injury as I banged my toe on the bed last night and it bloody hurts, and it's a Monday.

Pity me.

Edit - The day has took a sudden upturn as I've just eaten a creamcake.

Edit 2 - I've just had another one. *burps*

Monday's important question
Do qualifications equate to a well paid job to you?

For me they haven't. I was earning 6 times my most recent salary when I was a student working at the BBC, then when I graduated, the only jobs I could get were in retail positions. Working saving the lives of animals, I earn less than someone who works in a Mcjob, but it's all I want to do.

It's Monday, but at least it's sunny! However...
I'm not my usual cheery self. My sleep's been weird and I'm rather chaotic and disorganised at the mo. What about you lot? Is there something 'in the air'? Or do I just need a kick up the arse?

*sniffs*
I'm looking after my mate's cats at the moment, and I've found that their sachets of Felix smell quite tasty, even to the point of considering spreading it on toast.

What else smells good but probably doesn't taste good?

OK, serious question time.
I've had some serious doubts about my life choices lately. I've realised that I have a pretty rubbish job and a pretty rubbish flat with a pretty very rubbish flatmate, and my lovely lady is no longer my lady.
Wait! Come back! I'm not here to whinge!
Basically, a friend of mine has revealed her plans to me: when September rolls around she's going to work as a chef on a cruise ship, and she reckons she can put in a good word for me for a bar job. I've been a cocktail waiter/barman before, and I'm pretty good at it (there really is more to it than just pouring beer).
I just wondered if anyone here had done anything like this? Is the pay that good? Is it really that much fun? What's to be expected from spending 6 months on a cruise ship serving mojitos to gold-plated permatanned coffin-dodgers with yellow hair and visible chest wigs*?
*possibly.

I grow tired of this.
Every time I log into Hotmail, it nags me to "add people to my network". Is there any way I can turn it off without baleeting my account?

I just rediscovered how truly awful my balance is.
I just fell over on my bum, while trying to put on my knickers.
I blame my cat for frightening me by attacking my toe out of nowhere.

okay where do I swap my balance skills please?

Home Sweet Home
Literally, as we've just got back from That London after last night's shenanigans and general buffoonery.

Nice to see some old faces, and new ones too.

Oh, and a possible future venue for London bashes could be the Green Man just opposite Great Portland Street tube, as some of us discovered today they have a room downstairs that is free to hire.

I'm really fucked.

The worst thing I've seen on the internet.
Right, I can't seem to find it, but that previous thread reminded me of it.

It was an interview of this guy, who I belive called himself "The human garbage", and the details include
- Him wanting to pick up every STI/D, like Pokemon
- Him getting nappies from incontenant people at the local hospital, and eating them.
- Him paying all the local prozzys for their used condoms, so he can suck them dry.
- Him wanting anyone to fuck him, he didn't care who/what
- He wants (or did, can't remember) to cut his cock off.

It was the most grimmest thing, but google is failing me.

What's the worst thing you've read on the internets?

I'm going to Hull
I've just been thinking about how great it would be to meet somebody with multiple personality disorder and engineer a situation in which I could say "You're as bad as each other" to them.

Evening sexy people
Today's important question: If you could share your bed with anyone at all, who would you choose?

Sheer panic!
Left my phone in a taxi earlier on. I felt ill at the thought of all the hassle, losing photos (although not all photos, because I back up like a good girl) and also the loss of my only weekend means of internet access! Good news is the lovely taxi-driver came back to my house and returned the phone. Phew. I now feel I should sort out my karma and perform a kind act. What should I do?

good grief
with all this debauchery practice, by the time I get to meet most of you you will all be rivalling the Marquis De Sade!

In stark contrast, last night I had a couple of close friends round for a sumptious dinner (seared beef marinated in orange and chilli) and today have pointed a wall and built half my raised vegetable beds.

Anyone got any good remedies for curing sunburn?
I managed to get burnt yesterday so I look like some sort of dodgy bronze god on my arms, and I've got a wanker's tan on the rest of my body. So, anyone got any good tips for getting rid of sunburn?

When's the next London bash?
I need a night of debauchery and general insanity since I missed last nights (through a mix of poor planning and lack of cash and having a mate stay with me last night). When's the next one gonna be on, anyone know?

BASHTASTIC
Last night at The Bash, I stood next to two of my favourite male b3tans as they gave each other a full-on snog.
It gave me the horn.
Is this wrong?
Advise me, O Internet.
