Apparently if Bon Jovi get mentioned on B3ta too many times it breaks.

Which B3tan and which famous(ish) person would you like to place into what scenario with which animal? I'd put Chompy into a steel cage match with the Undertaker and his tag team partner, a Bengal Tiger.
Alt Q - What's the significance of which flowers? I know lilies are "sorry you died" but beyond that I'm stumped.

I propose an increase in family related benfits/support for parents who are willing to pass an educational course with yearly inspections.
This course would become mandatory on, say, the 3rd offence a child makes that involves police action.

.....the most tedious day of my life.....
Today I have woken up with a knackered back at 5.45am, spilled my coffee and struggled into work to be greeted by a full day of interviewing Unix engineers for a new post here. Please regale me with tales of how much better your day is than mine
ALT Q:
Favourite bread type product

you lot are making the research on my desk look interesting. and that research is about a tenant's rights if a landlord steamrollers in and carries out upgrades to a building without communicating them to the tenant. that is how bad you are.
now for chrissake pull your socks up. as sex seemed to get you going yesterday, let's ask:
how old were you when you found out what it was? who told you? did it scar you for life? of course in the cases of SOME PEOPLE, these questions are yet to be answered, but most of you should be ok.

then you're a massive tosser who desperately clings to nebulous ideas of 'popularity' and has pathetic delusions about how interesting other people find your tedious existence. You are boring. Your made-up 'friends' are boring. No-one cares - an 'update' about how you are feeling today is not even of interest to your own mother. Stop it.
HOLIDAYS. Who already has one booked or planned? Where are you going?
Christ now I know what it's like to be a fucking hairdresser.

it would appear they've quietly changed the settings again from "show me everything" to "show me people I've interacted with recently". You can change it back if you want, but if you were wondering why you stopped seeing any posts from various people, that's probably why (or they hate you).

If you're not on Facebook, of course, feel free to now rant about why it's for losers and internet lolfatties.

The rules of OT, the rules of qotfw, the rules of life, the rules of etiquette.
Those sorts of rules.
But not the rules of menswear and cologne.
I am somewhat well versed in such things already.

Who is around, who is a bit inebriated, and who has a slight thing for JD from scrubs when he does that staring into the distance thing?

is a qotw bash disapointing when you expect the people you meet aren't the amazing people they talked about? bit like being told you won a ferarri, then just winning a fat bald spastic instead?

Alt Q: What's for dinner?
(, Wed 9 Feb 2011, 19:38, 39 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
I've been home for a while and managed to polish off two and a half pints of good cider, a strip of fantastically over-ripe brie with some crackers and chilli, and listened to two hours of music.
Fuck the subject line. What have you achieved today?
