alt: Art, let’s talk art, are you one of them pricks who can stare at tire mark on canvass and spout out loads of bollocks about the depths of feeling and the emotional content, or would you stand there like the little boy from the “Emperors new clothes” and call it for what it is?
Alt:alt: I’m going for a beer after work, how do you celebrate Friday?

Are sheds dead? Consider this and scratch your head in my Shed's dead thread.
Alt: Camping, fun outdoor break or would you rather have Scarpe's Mum catch you trying to stick your own penis up your arse?

I now pronounce this the "well genius comedy" thread. Go forth and be fucking funny. Or, more effectively, start clicking things at random, or click something that raises half a smirk rather than a fully-fledged LOL.
Alt: 24 hours to live, access to an inexhaustible supply of funds and a teleporter. What would you do? Please note - teleporter, not time machine, so using the funds to cure whatever's killing you then going forward in time to obtain said cure is not on the cards. I'd go on a killing spree, wiping out everyone who's ever offended me in some way in alphabetical order, capturing each murder on camera and posting it on Twitter, thereby making myself the greatest avant-garde artist of the digital media age, or something, look I'm not sure where I'm going with this. I had a pretty good idea when I got started but it's got away from me somewhat. The question stands though. Also In the spirit of the main thread I think this is sufficient effort for a click. Factor in my compulsive neediness and you've got a compelling argument.

I'm going to a pub for a friends birthday tomorrow they have a burger
called the Henry the 8th burger. It's got 4 quarter pounders, a
chicken fillet, and 8 toppings cheese bacon mushroom onion ring fried
egg gerkin tomato and special sauce.
It's less than a tenner, which is nice.
What are you having for lunch?

I fucked something up at work last Friday and as a result I'm getting an Official Bollocking on Monday. Ever been disciplined for negligence or misconduct etc? Ever had to issue one to someone else? If not, why not get some practice in for the five other times today when you'll be asked on here, and outline your weekend plans?

It was agreed in the last thread that Jay Kay is probably alright and would be a laugh down the pub.
Who else, live or dead, do you reckon would be good value? Keith Moon, obv.
Alt: who would be the worst person you can think of to go on the piss with? Jim Carrey would be fucking annoying. I'd end up lamping him by pint 5 I reckon.

On my lunch break I was unfortunate enough to hear the abomination that is Scissor Sister's mangling of "Comfortably Numb". Is this the worst cover version of all time? I'm saying probably not, I think that has to go to All Saints' "Under The Bridge". What say you?
Alt: Best cover version. Please say something more inventive than "Hurt" by Johnny Cash, yes I know I'm the only person in the world who prefers the original.

Just read a v lol story in the Sun in our staffroom whilst the kettle was boiling. Jason Manford paid £60 for some cybersex nonsense with this stripper who said 'usually people ask me all sorts of perverted things but he asked me which comedians I liked on TV and that seemed to get him aroused'. Hahahaha 'yes, keep going...Michael McIntyre you say? Who else, you dirty bitch? Lee Evans? Oh yeah baby'
Hahahaha
EDIT: I am going out for a nommy on-trend hipster burger tonight. What's pulling your pork at the moment?

Full page ad in the Metro this morning and I also got a similar wheedling email telling me all about how they're 'changing' and what they've 'learnt' from this horse scandal.
Tesco are the scum of the fucking earth. Yeti's sister resigned from her buying job for them because she couldn't live with their complete lack of morals and ethics and is now happy at Sainsbury's doing a similar job.
What do you think will 'change' after all this shit? More expensive Findus lasagnes for one thing.
Alt: who also is the scum of the earth?
