not paralytically so, just enough that I don't want them anywhere near me.
Alt: Nothing, but I've offered to cook dinner, so possibly a small fire
Alt Alt: Red

So perhaps if we charge headfirst at each other, the spiders will follow me, and the flies will follow you, and suddenly get distracted by each other, leaving us to sneak off, free of arachnids and dipterans.
How the devil are you, anyway?
(, Fri 2 Mar 2012, 15:51, Reply)
or possibly just lure them all into a room and then make use of some accelerant and a match.
I'm not bad thanks, had a bad two weeks but things are better. How are you?
(, Fri 2 Mar 2012, 15:54, Reply)
But yeah, can't complain. Well, I shouldn't, but I do. But there will be cake in a couple of minutes. That will help. Good to see you're still alive and (hopefully) well.

I am indeed well thanks, the bollocksing up was all other people for once!

Can't remember what type of cake...someone else is supplying it. (Friday afternoon cake is one of the many things I shall miss from my soon-to-be-ex research group.)

Finished series 4 of Supernatural this morning; it's getting a bit predictable, to be honest. Still excited to see what happens in s5 mind
(, Fri 2 Mar 2012, 15:59, Reply)
It looked pretty good but I can't stand picking things up halfway through so had to stop watching it
(, Fri 2 Mar 2012, 16:07, Reply)
Worth watching from the start, I'd say. Castle, too.

And Season 5 is ace, it really is. Has some brilliant episodes, and probably the best finale of the entire show.

I'm quite sad that they never mentioned Jimmy again though, because that was quite a terrifying fate really.
(, Fri 2 Mar 2012, 16:21, Reply)
Bloody work. Agreed on Jimmy. Do we get to see any more of Zacharia? I knew he'd turn out to be evil just because Kurt Fuller played him but he was great TV
(, Fri 2 Mar 2012, 16:48, Reply)
not dropping spoilers but Dean has a ~destiny~
(, Fri 2 Mar 2012, 16:55, Reply)
I quite enjoyed finding out that Azazel had a plan all along - other than "be evil"
(, Fri 2 Mar 2012, 16:58, Reply)
the point of season 5 though is how, and since things never work out well for Dean it's pretty interesting.
(, Fri 2 Mar 2012, 17:11, Reply)
Because by the end of series 4 it was just getting a bit painful
(, Fri 2 Mar 2012, 17:15, Reply)
that's when it gets painful. Ackles is clearly the better actor, though that's not saying much
(, Fri 2 Mar 2012, 17:17, Reply)
And he's so ridiculously handsome it wouldn't matter if he was shite. Padalecki has the weightier role and just doesn't have the chops for it. He only seems to have two facial expressions, including his "curling out a hard poo" one for when he's killin' demons.

Alt: Got a couple of friends coming over for a few drinks
Alt Alt: Depends what I'm eating. I don't tend to drink Red often, but it's nice with roasted red meat. I prefer white with pretty much everything else. I do love a nice ale with steak though.

I just got back from the stupidest meeting ever. It's all to do with VERY IMPORTANT DOCUMENT what I wrote. V.I.D has been changed loads of times via email. Big fucking changes, all done by email. Fine by me.
2 months later I get an email which basically said "need meeting! need to check V.I.D!!!11!!" PANIC PANIC, etc. So I worry, thinking it's a fuckin overhaul and arrange a meeting.
The meeting consisted of me and a colleague sitting in awkward silence not sure if we should leave or not while the guy taps at his computer and puts on jazz music. Turns out the changes are minor and the meeting pointless. So I spent an hour and a half today listening to jazz FOR NO REASON!

AltAlt: Beer please. Asahi if you can get it.

Which is why if anyone ever goes out/goes somewhere I have to go as well. 99% of the time it's shit.
Alt: Just got back from a two hour walk by the river, now I'm watching Californication and working out what to wear tonight. I think I'll go with a black Our Legacy denim shirt and Norse Projects flecked t-shirt. Trousers and shoes are as yet undecided.

as it seemed easier than one-handed spackcooking again. but there will be polite company and I don't really think cutlery is going to be my "bag" right now. So best hit the wine and ignore the looks I reckon.

Go with a character you want to keep alive, take a packet of condoms and every time you're in trouble flash one at whoever's got the drop on you with a little wink. The fight'll be over before you can say "Level three entangle"

Alt: very tender head/face on account of suspected neuralgia. Just about to attempt making a curry, after Eggheads has finished.
Alt Alt: if those are the only choices, then beer. Wine is shit. also, I take it 'beer' means 'beer', and not 'lager'? Otherwise, my answer would be "Nothing thanks, I'll just lick a rancid tramp's armpit later."

I've got into my sleeping stuff now and I'm wondering what kind of take away to have, because I ended up having a right win of a shitty week.
I left my watch at home today and I felt really weird, I thought it feel off at one point and panicked. It's the most precious thing I own, I'd rather lose my laptop with all my backups than my watch.
