Sorry chompy, I really don't give a shit and there is nothing interesting there or genreal chit-chat.I'm having a day off today because I'm beyond shattered from the hospital stuff yesterday, spent most of this morning schluffing on the couch. Now I'm hungry so am making a McJew, which is a bagel filled with crispy salt beef, a potato ludka (think hash brown), english mustard and stoke's ketchup (amAAAzing).
I'm looking forward to this weekend, gonna take it easy but also go to a party on saturday.
Just put on a flick called Hugo, I remember wanting to see it at the pictures, I've forgotten what its about though.
So, what's your lunch/weekend/entertainment/etc plans?

Got some pork in a BBQ sauce from my local supplierSoftened a couple of onions and peppers, then added the pork, poured water into the pork tray to get the rest of the juices out, then added that to the pan, letting it boil down.
Added some tomato puree to thicken it a little, then added jerk seasoning, paprika, chilli flakes, cayenne pepper, and ginger, before adding some passata, mixing it all together, and left it to simmer for about 10 mins, before adding a bit more seasoning, serve with rice, very very tasty.

With Slow cookers it's not really hard to make most stewsbeef + beer + veg
Top tip for you, you hardly loose any water in a slow cooker so it's worth frying the meat in butter and flour before you put the stuff in the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.

Haha, if only.Ma' brought a 4kg salted brisket that came to £50, and by the end probably got about 2kgs worth as the it reduces. I think she got like 10 servings out of it.
The butcher is the one to salt it, hang it, and do all that, then you boil it up with carrot, onion and a few others bits that I can't remember.
