AltAlt: Sarcasm?

(, Mon 9 Sep 2013, 11:49, Reply)
Nope, it's like a new the Mummy Returns, hilarious, knows it's shit and doesn't take itself seriously. Plus the Rock is in it.

Soup, crackers and brie.
Alt: Highs and lows.

Altalt: I really enjoyed Django Unchained
(, Mon 9 Sep 2013, 11:49, Reply)
The scene in Django with the sacks on their heads had me in hysterics in the cinema

(, Mon 9 Sep 2013, 11:53, Reply)
I didn't expect to enjoy that as much as I did.

(, Mon 9 Sep 2013, 11:54, Reply)
I quite enjoyed that.
As always with Tarantino films though, I enjoyed the soundtrack more.
(, Mon 9 Sep 2013, 11:55, Reply)
I haven't seen that yet. I nearly bought it for £7 the other day in Morrisons, but didn't.

(, Mon 9 Sep 2013, 11:57, Reply)
It was pretty fucking good, Django
about 30 mins too long though. Typical recent Tarantino.
(, Mon 9 Sep 2013, 11:58, Reply)
i never got to see this at the cinema
after my predictive text invited my friend to see "flange unchained" instead

AltAlt. Haven;t seen much this year so probably either Evil Dead or Spring Breakers.
(, Mon 9 Sep 2013, 11:52, Reply)
Evil dead was awful in my humble opinion, awful pacing.
Iron man 3 was much better than expected apart from the last 25 minutes.
(, Mon 9 Sep 2013, 11:54, Reply)
will be getting that on blu ray this week.
Im a huge comic geek so a lot of them have been disappointing.
Don't go to the cinema much as when folk talk through the film, I tend to get a bit stabby.
(, Mon 9 Sep 2013, 12:03, Reply)
Beer.
Alt: Average. Domestic chores all weekend.

Altalt: I watched that new Kathryn Bigelow film last night about the capture of Usama Bin Laden. That was good.

When her chip pan cooled down, it solidified in a big white lump. You couldn't move the basket at all.

would probably be dripping

Why have so many Trekkies dissed it?
They have called it the worst one ever, and lets face it, there are some TERRIBLE Trek films.
What was that one at Seaworld all about?
(, Mon 9 Sep 2013, 12:10, Reply)
I didn't think it was the worst Trek film made but I watched it and just didn't see the point of it
It was just a piss poor remake of a thirty year old film, if I wanted to watch that film I'd just watch it, I thought the whole point of this reboot was to do new and interesting things, not just 'hey look it's the same scenes from that film you love except now we'll put it in reverse how edgy'.
