Original track was indeed written and performed by the Icicle Works ' Birds Fly(Whisper To A scream)'. Now sometimes called ' I snort smoke up my arse'

Wiki says:
"There is no bass line, which is very unusual for a dance song; Prince has said that there originally was a bass line, but decided that the song was too conventional with it intact."
Of course you're right, there is some bottom end in the track, I think some of it is from the (processed) drum machine, and there are a few low synth notes.

Big cats have rather huge claws which naturally results in injuries all the time
in captivity or the wild; and tend to have rather scarred faces. What amazes me is the amount of people who contact Terry (and quite frankly from the USA) amazed he doesn't declaw his cats; which is a horrific thing to do to an animal.
Those documentaries where we see of 'experts' rolling around with lions are complete bollocks; in the case of that kiwi, they were all declawed and also drugged out of their minds before filming. No one on in their right mind would play with a big cat like a lion that hadn't been de-clawed; one bash with it's claws out and you are dead. Slightly smaller cats such as leopards is still the same; you simply can't roll around with them safely ever. Cute as cubs, but as they grow time to keep your distance.
Which is why the last video is so amazing: www.vimeo.com/19445408

And wasn't it eerily quiet, remote, and devoid of wildlife?
Never been one to entertain all this big cat lark before, but that was simply peculiar; as if an efficient predator not native to this green and pleasant land had moved in and decimated the population at dawn and dusk, and moved on elsewhere

Cs2 comes with imageready.
And you can work in one and transfer to the other. Imageready is a bit smoother in playing the things back, but clunky in some other ways. I also find it easy to save them properly in imageready.
