# I'm just always surprised
how you can decide you feel a particular way about 260 million different people.
Take heart. They probably just don't like you and it's a convenient political excuse! Oh...
(, Wed 11 Jun 2003, 19:32, archived)
# *sniff*
you're probably right.

they did mention that their "drug dealer" is on b3ta all the time.
interesting, eh? such discreet lads.

# Zog, I don't think they were being particularly British

# People are people
everywhere that you go...

Zog they're twats if they can't even be bothered to give you a chance to show them what you think about US foreign policy...
(, Wed 11 Jun 2003, 19:37, archived)
# He shouldn't need it le.
American foreign policy is not all Americans opinion is it. Some, yes but like you say, people are people and that works *both* ways.
(, Wed 11 Jun 2003, 19:39, archived)
# I was being facetious.
It's a line from a song (possibly called "Make Friends with People").
(, Wed 11 Jun 2003, 19:43, archived)
# I remember a song called
"most people are dicks"

I think it was Snuff or someone who did it.

# You do seem
to have attracted more than your fair share of idiots today haven't you.
(, Wed 11 Jun 2003, 19:42, archived)
# just saw the end of the thread...
what he say? All seems a bit fucked for no good reason.
(, Wed 11 Jun 2003, 19:50, archived)
# You must have noticed that,
even on b3ta, there are people who can't grasp the distinction between peoples and governments.
I can assure you that it was worse during the Vietnam war - there were a lot of draft dodgers/objectors here, and they got stick from the knee-jerk mob over a war they were actively resisting.
I don't care much for the US govt, but I have liked most of the US individuals I've met, and the regular US minority on b3ta seem, without exception, to be a very decent crew.
(, Wed 11 Jun 2003, 19:38, archived)
# I'm an asshole
though.
(, Wed 11 Jun 2003, 19:43, archived)
# Maybe there are exceptions, then.
But only because you insist on being a cavity in a quadruped - I'm sure you're not an arsehole.
(, Wed 11 Jun 2003, 19:55, archived)
# i got a good name for you
