from Angels to Aliens, but this is the first time I've seen it this clearly.
It is creepy, something about the timing, you're JUST working out what you're seeing and it does that, Hollywood take note, NO scare chord needed, makes it more real that way.

An Aussie chap (I umm think) is trying to start up his own meme response
to the "planking" craze. I must admit that it is both original & amusing.

Not sure it will catch on personally, as it takes some balls to do it properly. (and is a bit cuntish)

You pay for the food - you can do what you like with it. It's not as if they put great effort into making it, just pulled a lever, so no offence to the chefs.
It may freak out the staff at first, but give them a great story of the weirdo at the drive-in for years to come. JOY!
So more of this sort of thing! Saw it earlier and was giggling like a little girl at the last segment. Hopefully it does catch on and gets creative as hell.

I picked up a news story that warned their may be a little disruption to power or comms over the next day or so. But only a little as the blast wasn't pointing towards the Earth so, at worst, we'll just get a little peripheral effect.
Was pretty though.
Cheers

These work very well and cost a lot less than the full on machine type electric contraptions:

Don't look as impressive granted.

Ive found one that is really bloody cheap actually, amazingly so infact. It works just like a normal bbq, just with a big compartment linked to it, no electronics or gas needed. Apparently a lot more economical and ecofriendly than normal bbqs, and most importantly just right for doing pulled pork sarnies :)

it's a song about nothing much with a touch of nadsat and an optomistic chorus. :D i'm interested to know what people reckon to it.

And even mentioned so in a thread earlier :D. Had a look round the label website as well. Not a musical area I know an awful lot about, but thought I'd chip in and let you know I've been liking.

the nadsat was fun to write. even though there's just a wee bit it took a while. :D

I realise that given the source there is a high chance this has already been seen by many, but just in case...
(and yes, I know it's an ad, but that doesn't automatically make it shit, and I like this, so...um..Ner?)
( , Tue 7 Jun 2011, 21:34, Reply)

any ad would be better if it weren't an ad. edit. i'm not saying i won't enjoy it. but i'm definitely prejudging it slightly :D
( , Tue 7 Jun 2011, 21:45, Reply)

But I enjoyed it anyway.
And although I said it was 'an ad', I think it would have been more accurate to say it's a collection of old ads for the same company.

And 'Angie Dickinson' (never heard of her) has the most incredible 1950s legs in the picture from Rio Bravo.
Thanks.

This is a piece of voice acting I did a couple of years ago. It's an original story I wrote and performed myself as an entry to a voice acting contest (which I won!). I'm very proud of the results but thought it could do with more exposure. It isn't animated so consider this a purely audio piece.

And now ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for the comments from the Stephen Fry Hater Society. What'll it be? You hate him because he's posh? You hate him because he's not as intelligent as he appears? You hate him because he's a wannabe Wilde? You hate him because he's overexposed?
Harrumph.

he's fine it's all the fawning which is irritating. Good solid writer though.

I'm reluctant to look at the comments for this because someone's going to slag him off. Gladly that didn't happen!
One thing I've noticed since leaving the UK six years ago is that we Brits love to knock down our national treasures, be it a top bloke like Fry or maybe a tennis player or whoever. I wonder why that is...?

Very eye-catching dance animation in which the characters keep changing,
made in 1988 so apols if GC. I'll take a chance on not slapping an NSFW
on it 'cos it does contain animated boobies, but I'll change that if
told otherwise.
