I've had a lovely day at the Natural history museum looking at dead stuff. It's so nice and cool in there, unlike here which is like an oven at present. I think I'll make like a fern and start misting myself.
This evening's important question...If you could be famous for any one thing, what would it be?

How can I cope with such an emergency?
I can't handle with the rapidly approaching Monday sober!

What is your favourite music video, be it to do with the story, quality of the song or something else?
Mine is November Rain by Guns N' Roses, partly because it's so over the top and cost so much money and partly because it makes me want to squishyhug Axl Rose and make it all better.

On my travels on the old 'net thingy, I've noticed that quite a few people keep asking how to turn the Windows XP/Vista interface in to the OS X interface. I don't understand why they want to do this, the OS X interface is a pile of donkey shit. Pretty donkey shit, but still donkey shit. Actually, not that pretty either.
So, if Satan begins to order snow shovels and I do end up ever buying a fruit themed computational device, does anyone have a way to make OS X usable and make it look like XP? (without having to install Windows on the device!)

However, we have nothing with which to eat the bacon.
Other than that, life is fluffeh. How are we all today?

Stag Night plus many beers plus DiT = nasty hangover. B3tans, what's the best hangover cure you can think of? Bonus points for originality, clarity and hilarity.

Which celeb would you have swap places with him. and why?
i'd go for timmy mallet, or maybe the chuckle brothers. why? cos jacko the paedo is probably less of a threat to humankind than either of them.

He brought home the complete Monty Python box set today; all the TV series, all the filums, and Live at the Hollywood Bowl, all on shiny disk. I like Monty Python almost as much as I like DG.
I should probably give him a blow job for his husbanding skillz.

Hey!
I'm sure you all remember me ;) Living in Canada and all that...
(*waves to Kaol*)
I'm currently living in Canada and hunting down work. It's pretty piss-poor as to be expected with this drab economy, so I've decided to go back into the Web-Design game.
My question to you lovely lot it this: Do you know of anyone in need of a website (PHP, Javascript - the works) who'd be happy to hire my good self?
I've had 4 years experience developing PHP web-based applications, 3 years with jQuery and Ajax prettyness and a few frameworks under my belt.
Sorry for the spam, and thanks in advanced. Kittums to follow.

I just got back an hour ago, having spent last night with my family in Berwick. Instead of showering my beautiful wife with affection and Pinot Grigio, I am currently dicking around in the garden, drinking beer with our neighbour.
How can I make this up to my darling Tourette's? I've just done so. My entire army of daleks & Dr Who toys, books, DVDs & videos are all up for sale on ebay. It should fetch enough money to buy her a small plot of land on which to make her dream come true: to have a retirement home for all those aged cats & dogs you see in rescue shelters whom nobody wants.
That should do the trick I reckon - she will forgive my tosserness for being so inattentive just now.

Christ it's sufferingly hot here, here being Egypt where I'm having a nice holiday, thanks for asking. 45C though is an interesting challenge.
Anyway, am listening to this: from someone on b3ta which I can highly recommend.
Enjoy the rest of your day...

about thermometers and dogs' bums...
We need to keep checking the dog's temperature so we will have some notice of when she'll whelp.
How do you sterilise the thermometer before and after?
can't boil it, don't want to bleach it... what do vets do? Don't have an autoclave...
So sensible and not so sensible ideas please

I just wanted to share with the lot of you that I finally met another American b3tan, namely Kristine. We met at a restaurant about an hour and a half from each of our houses, a good halfway point, and had beer and chatted a lot and laughed at the white people trying to dance.
Kristine is very lovely and kind, and I hope to get her to visit Richmond so I can show her around here a bit. She cheered me up immensely last night.
Thank you, Kristine, I owe you...

EDIT: This is now the official fluff thread...
Me and the missus have just moved to a bigger place - and a nicer area - so we've decided to share our new home with two rescue cats.
Scrubs and Tonks.
Tonks is pure white and is the spitting image of Blofled's cat from the Bond movie. Well, she will be when she gets a bit bigger. Then I'm going to post pics of me stroking the cat with captions like:
"I don't expect you to understand me Mrs Chickenlady - I expect you to..............................................................die!"
*evil laugh*
Cheers

realise you're probably all asleep but I just wanted to say hope you have a good weekend. I've spent the last two days fairly muntered on drugs and am spending my first weekend of the holidays catching up on my sleep and avoiding pain. I'll be around lurking but probably not posting. Having trouble typing coherently (has taken 10 minutes to type this far!). Dad's out of hospital - me and mum and my brother are all on school holidays, so everything is fine and dandy.
love and fluff to you all.
/hugs

May I take this beer-fuelled opportunity to declare my everlasting love to my darling wife, Tourette's. PJM's altruism has inspired me to flog my entire dalek collection forthwith, in order to shower my lovely lady with all the livestock and Spike (from Buffy) toys her heart could possibly desire.
Thanks PJM - you rock, man!
every single werd of this post is troo and all my own werk, honestly.....!
