I can't help feeling a certain amount of "That'll teach you not to drink stupid stuff, then." What's the weirdest drink you've ever had?

Alt: I was tempted to go with "Italians smash transexual ring" for the innuendo. Good headlines?

I'm afraid we're going to have to have an evening thread
as I am bored shitless.

I just looked at the page for an event happening tonight at a club. I thought, hey, perhaps someone i know is going and I'll go there. Unfortunately it seems I knew two people. Both ex-students :(

I'm sure Fridays used to be fun

(, Fri 5 Oct 2012, 14:24, 162 replies, latest was 13 years ago)
So, Kay Burley, eh?
What a horrendous excuse for a human being. She's now going round all those frightful Welsh chavs, breaking the news that they think it's now a murder investigation, and goading them to cry for her live on telly.

What's the worst piece of journalistic professionalism you've ever seen? I think we need some moral OUTRAGE on the internet.

Alt: tell me about your yummy food. I mean, no-one really cares about dead Welsh girls, do they?
(, Fri 5 Oct 2012, 12:47, 237 replies, latest was 13 years ago)
Name some bands!
Nah not really.

Best non-fiction book/TV/film that you have encountered of late? Actually that sounds shit as well.

Help me out, my nig-nogs.

David "Kid" Jensen. Now it all makes sense.
Nonce sense.

Yeah, whatever. Its the weekend, I'm off to cut down Rhododendron over the weekend. Every cut of the axe, I'll be thinking it was the head of my employer being cleaved in twain.

What are you twats up to? I only want lies, I can't handle the truth.

What have you done recently that has made you feel like more of an adult than you thought you were?
This morning I went to a Montessori nursery with Mrs B' to put our daughter's name down for next year (typical white middle class north London issue). This made me feel scarily responsible and 'grown up'. When did you last feel like a real adult?

Alt: Is there really a point to 'alt' questions?

AltAlt: who would you like to kill themselves* (other than me)?

* Bono is obvious, so be more creative than that thanks.

What do you want for Christmas OT?
A 'computer game' or some grizzly bear slippers maybe, or just the desperate hope for a little human contact.

Alt: best piss altering altering vegetable

Time for a new one.
Tell me, how would you run your perfect resturant/bar/pub/place-people-go-to? What would be your USP? Where would it be? Let's say you have a £500k budget.

Bored of that now.
Have you all read this yet www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-19817457
Or have you lived it?

What do you guys think of all you can eat, I think they're generally disapointing and you tend to subsidise fatties, that said I've been to two good ones before and it's nice to know the exact price.

(, Thu 4 Oct 2012, 9:55, 135 replies, latest was 13 years ago)
Whoah, freaky yeah?
I had a long and unpleasant dream last night that I couldn't sleep. Changing ends of the bed, turning pillows etc - all the while having a perfectly decent kip!!! So I woke up feeling mentally knackered but fully rested. WEIRD, YEAH?

When was the last time you OH SHUT UP.

Alt: Se'sly, shut up, yeah?
