Let me put it to you this way, sunshine
Say you walked into a pub, saw a large group of people gathered chatting, garnered a flicker of recognition from one or two and invited yourself to sit with them despite several of them clearly not liking you. Following this, your attempts to ingratiate yourself with the group involved acting like a prize bellend and banging on about one of the group's dead mother.
What reaction would you expect?

If everyone who didn't like you was up each other's bums
then B3ta would be like a massive anal orgy with only one person not participating. That person would be stood on the sidelines, trying to resist the urge to wank himself into a coma of self-hatred. That person would be you.
A bit like your sex life. And by "sex life", I obviously mean "porn habit".

This week will be sorting out the spare room and all of our associated paperwork
It will also include healthy eating, a few runs, long dog walks and no alcohol (boooooo!) I'm aware the only misery this will reduce is my waistline.
I can actually feel my sinuses filling with delicious snot at the moment. This is not a good thing.
Tonight will be trick or treating with the kids so that will be good. I was most proud of my pumpkin carving at the weekend.

You are supposed to add +1 to the gradient to make the run more realistic to the altering terrain you find outside.

I live in Norfolk mate
Most of the running routes I do round here are like running on Keira Knightley's chest. I think it's a combination of being hotter indoors and not being able to stretch my strides for fear of falling off the treadmill that does it

Seeing a friend for a DVD night tomorrow
Wednesday, no plans
Thursday, Karaeoke at the local
Friday, possibly a trip to Altrincham for a night of belgian beer, but that's quite up in the air atm, due to finances.
Then I'm not too sure about next weekend.
Alt: Nothing much really, going to have a quiet month this month, then start Christmas shopping next month.

There's a hell of a lot of crap out there. I would happily do general admin stuff, but I fear prospective employers will take one look at my employment history and degree and consign me to the 'if we employ him he'll fuck off six months later' heap.

I have applied for a couple of short term positions already.
Heard zilch from either of them. Also registered with a few employment agencies, and uploaded my CV onto a few sites. The bastard is, most employers want experience in whatever particular line of work they're advertising, so even if I could probably do the job with a minimal amount of training, it's not even worth applying because there will always be 20 people ahead of me with the requisite experience.

I have seen a grown man weep about very minor matters after a night on the gin.
I have the occasional one as an aperitif but that's it - partly as gin hangovers are amongst the worst.

I find it too much - they've gone for too many botanicals
Tanqueray, Plymouth or Blackwoods for a day-to-day gin. Caorunn, Tanqueray 10 or Sipsmith for the more serious drinks.
But then I'm apparently the only person in the world that doesn't like Hendricks, either. So I'm probably wrong. Except, of course, I'm me, so I'm not.
And, anyway, as I've said four hundred times before - it's less about the gin and more about the tonic. If you're going to use schweppes of any kind or (god forbid) slimline tonic you might just as well start with meths.
