As I said below, there'll be about an hour more of random tunes - mostly of the mellow kind. I hope you all enjoy them as much as me :D

I think it was The Day Today,
it was a counciller (or MP) talking to a reporter about a demonstration to highlight old people being alone/homeless/cold or something at Christmas, it went something like:

"The old people will sleep in boxes outside the town hall on Christmas Eve. Then, we will set fire to the boxes to symbolise the plight of the elderly. Some people may still be in their boxes."

"You're going to burn old people at Christmas?"

"I'm not saying we're going to burn old people. What I'm saying is, old people may... burn."

can you tell me if this is working?

Loud and clear (ish at that bit rate)

(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 12:03, archived)
Appreciated :D
Next time I'll actually up the bit-rate...

Just making sure that my router set-up etc is ok... Will actually work on the *content* now ;)

Edit : Bit-rate upped...should be 96K Stereo now :D
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 12:04, archived)
I usually have about 24kbs mono for mine
and you know what that sounds like, if you up the bitrate you can have less listeners, but you prolly know that already :)
folk me up please
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 12:06, archived)

drop bitrate again

Halved to 48K Stereo...
How's that?
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 12:12, archived)
all right for me
you don't really need it to be super quality
24kbs and mono is fine
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 12:13, archived)
Still needing to rebuffer here...
...but on dialup...probably alright for those with sensible girth.
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 12:14, archived)
Dropped to 24 Mono...
Will work out best options at a later date...
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 12:16, archived)
Don't use stereo.
It adds very little but halves the quality you get for the bitrate.

this
now if you can just sort out your titles, we're laughing,
good lord is that runrig?
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 12:20, archived)
Yes it is! I'm just throwing various tunes out at the mo...
I'll need to look at my options and stuff to sort out the titles..

Edit : Let me know when the next tune comes along if you get a title...

Whereas the world would be a much better place
if it were run by the guitar twiddles of Hendrix and the warbling of David Essex and the xylophone playing of Patrick Moore and the cymbal smashing of one of the drummers from Adam and the Ants.

but recently i got a new computer and a flat screen moniter thats even bigger than the TV.... i wanted to get a tv tuner for my computer, but ive got some fancy cable where you need a cable box to get all the good channels. im looing for a card for my computer that converts analog video(which will come from a cable box) and can be used on the computer.... i need one that doesnt need to be used as the primary video card, and that just recieves video, not a TV tuner.... and i guess ill need the name of a good program for watching the video, maybe one that records too... i dunno.
