Edit Edit: The defence rests, your honour: You can hardly describe a smile like that as any kind of smacked fishy repast, sir.

David Dimbleby being the new Chair of 'I'm Sorry I Haven't Clue'
Sean Pertwee being the new Doctor Who
That's what I expect. Mind you, that's not what is likely to happen...

As screeners...
Reasonable quality screeners too
Also: iPlayer is NOT RealPlayer

It uses the flash plug-in as a wrapper to leverage Real Media streams.
and I should bloody know, I was on the initial development team at BBCW.

That says it's not using it, and is using Flash purely with a VP6 (or H264) codec.
I know for local stuff it's still mostly RealPlayer, but is streaming iPlayer stuff really RealPlayer*
*I'm not questioning your knowledge, I'm just trying to clarify

Not trying to be arsey at all, it really is the most pig-awful lash-up in the history of anything.
The Beeb couldn't dump all their legacy stream-creation workflow, so they mangled the whole lot together into this abomination.
It was all born out of the abortive Real-based BBC.com (note the .com, hence commerical) News Service, that one had to pay for.
It's a disgrace, much as Joe S already pointed out.
That's why you get this awful degrade from H 264 codec, due it being delivered by one system, deployed to the browser via another.
And don't even get me started on the Mac support.

"Depending on your station, as detailed in this guide, you may be able to listen to a Real or Windows Media Audio live stream. Real may adjust the bit-rate depending on your connection, but we offer live streams at 64kbps."
A lot of the local live streaming stuff needs Realplayrer

I just really don't think she's anything special.
As for the body, meh. I'd honestly rather have someone with a bit of meat on them.
OH MY GOD I MUST BE SO JEALOUS etc. Nah. I'd rather do me, really.

I wasn't angling. It's just usually if a bigger girl says that she doesn't think a thin girl's attractive all the boys cry 'JEALOUSY!'.
I'm not jealous. I had a 16 year old's body when I was 16, I don't need to have one now.

Any tips would be appreciated.

I like the simplistic quality. I think sometimes with vexels and vectors people can be tempted into making them too intricate, whereas I much prefer an approach like yours.

I didn't want to get too ambitious on my first go so the simplistic approach was a necessity more than a choice.

My only thought - and this is merely a personal preference - would be to round some of the sharper corners a little.

Some of the sharper corners were intentional, some were less so.
