1982 - Save Your Love by Renee and Renato
A duet of unbelievable naffness performed by Renato Pagliari, a one-time waiter from Birmingham, and a club singer, Hilary Lefter. The song's celebrated video featured 16-stone Pagliari serenading an actress in a blonde wig. Renato, a Rome-born cabaret tenor, was discovered singing in a restaurant and met Hilary while doing summer season at the Winter Gardens in Margate. But she left to go solo between their single being recorded and making the chart, so actress Val Penny was drafted in to replace her on the TV and the video. Renato now lives in Sutton Coldfield (2001) and continues to tour.

Hmm
Its my Birthday today and I'm not really feeling very fuffly at all.
I have no job and I never get a reply back to any of the applications I send. I really dont have anything to look forward too. Took half a a day for anyone to remember it was my birthday, or atleast wish me a happy one. They looked sort've upset when they had brought lunch for me and I turned it down because I'd just eaten a couple of crappy sandwiches. No doubt I'll get a phone call later today to say that my benefit is being cut and I wont be allowed back on it all ever. What a wonderful day I expect to have, even blowing stuff up doesnt seem to be helping.

is it wrong to go and make a cheese and ham sandwich at quarter past 2 in the morning?
Shame you haven't had a good week so far but what is yet to happen is unknown, so you may as well not feel bad about it yet.

i know exactly how you feel
with the exception that today isn't my birthday.
for what its worth, happy birthday, and if anyone pisses you off, you can legally "bring the pain" as it is your birthday, as you are exempt from normal laws (except Arizona).
And if all else fails, grab your shotgun and go postal, i might.....

justifiably so.

I've had contact with him and he says that a troll ruined his reputation.
yep.
he threatened to sue me (using three different e-mail addresses, one of which has his website domain in it), and alleged that i identified him on here in an e-mail to my employer. which is of course a big, fat, lie.
i *did* call him racist, which to be fair was an exaggeration - he's a rabid anti-american, so perhaps 'nationalist' would have been a better term, but that's got it's own connotations - but i've not heard from him for a day or so.
still, adolescence is a difficult age.
he came on the board and said that it wasn't him posting 16m-pixel-wide images, but he was generally trolling (starting threads with titles like, "are you all retards?") and if you look at his website, that would be fairly consistent with his personality. he's taken down his page advocating spam...

or i typed it wrong. he e-mailed my employer saying that i identified him on here. which i didn't, so he's a liar.
he did some nice work on here previously, it's just a shame that his website is such utter adolescent shite...
he's taken down the 'about me' page and replaced with with 'about us'. first sign of multiplepersonality disorder?
