I HAVE NOW SENT OUT ADDRESSES.

Here we go again. Exactly the same as last year's, but I'm organising it this year, and not the lovely Blue Star or the dashing Red Rocket or even the absolutely smashing mns or that other one that did it that time.It's dead easy to do:
Sign up below, then send me a GAZ with your postal address and an email address.
Make a compilation CD consisting of 18 randomly selected tracks from your music collection. On 7th May, I'll email you with five b3tan's postal addresses, and you send them a compilation CD. Whether you choose to include anything else in the Jiffy bag that you think the other person might like such as sweets and trinkets and that, is entirely up to you.There are a couple of rules though
The compilations MUST be a random collection of songs, so set iTunes or WinAmp or whatever music playing thing you use on shuffle or random. Then choose the first 18 tracks it comes up with.- you can have up to three song substitutions and two same artist swaps.
As last year, if you sign up, PLEASE make sure you actually take part. I'm not taking any shit from people who haven't received CDs. I'll just give them your addresses instead!
The date to get them posted off by is 21st May. There is no excuse for being a lazy twat. It gives you a full 2 weeks to get your arse down the Post Office. If you are going to be away on holiday or something, then let me know of any delays. I promise not to come and burgle your house while you are away.
Please GAZ me your name and address by the end of 6th May at the very latest. If you want to send me a copy of your CD, ask my for my details in your GAZ. Finally, if the above doesn't make sense, ask a grown-up or your carer to explain it slowly. Good luck, and enjoy!

Please explain
three song substitutions and
two same artist swaps.

Are the song substitutions "take out any 3 songs from the random selection and put in any other 3 songs you choose"? Or is it "Take out any 3 songs and put in the next 3 random ones"?

Are same artist swaps "If you have 2 songs by the same artist, you can take one out and put in any old other song by a different artist" or "...and put in the next random one" or "if you have a bad song by a good artist you can swap it for a good song by that artist".

I mean, I know how I've done it in the past, I'm just never sure I'm doing it right.
