This is a link post Eargasm.

Evening/morning all.

I think I've had this shitty virus as I've had chronic fatigue since February, which is basically like having a comedown for five months. I'm also working two jobs and tending to a four year old (and earnestly trying to complete the new FFVII), so spare time is not my friend, hence neglecting Beefreeter :o(

I'm not looking for sympathy. I could honestly post ten albums a day of awesome metal for you guys to listen to but that's not what this place is about. Yes - this is a death metal release, but it encompasses folk, prog, and classical flawlessly; I just can't put it down. If you like (old) Opeth, there's a hint of that, but better in my opinion. Definitely more grandiose. Great musicianship, composition, arrangement, production, probably the best album I've heard this decade.

I had blood tests to deduce it wasn't anything else, but I'm not allowed an antibody test yet, so I've either got post-viral fatigue from a virus, or the virus. Headache, sore throat, exhaustion. Just gotta keep listening to this until I feel better!
