back in the 90s lived on a dual carriageway which was 40, just coming off a 70. coming towards us it was downhill, flatten out and a turn to the right. even at 70/80 it was easy to turn.
Middle of one night crash CRASH! crash crash... wake up there's a lump of rock on the upstairs landing with a hole in the roof. go outside to find a car in 2 neighbours away front garden, halfway up it.
this looney in an escort rs turbo was piling down the road. too fast for the right turn even after braking (you can see the tyremarks). backs steps out. he goes *thump* up onto the central reservation. *thump* down again. across oncoming dual road. *thump* up the kerb then *thump* down on to the cycle lane (like single lane road wide), *thump* up that kerb, across pavement to the start of neighbours garden. but all our houses were raised up, and it was at least a 20-30 degree incline. he's coming in about 45 degree angle, up the grass, hit the wall (which sends a lump about 70 foot up the garden to go through our roof), launched into the air now doing a barrel roll because of the angle. across 3/4 gardens. narrowly miss our mature willow (lucky). lands.
he had a broken arm, that's all.

a saffer barbecue, christ there's a lot of them down there and nearby southfields is like little joberg. Anyway we were only a few hundred meters from the tube walking across a roundabout when we saw a house with a car boot half sticking out of the middle of the front wall of the place. It looked like it had gone straight over the roundabout and launched itself through their fence and into someone's living room. The weird thing was we didn't hear the accident, it was all quiet, and I thought at first it was well after it, as there was no one else around. But it seemed like within a minute of stopping to stare at it there materialised quite a crowd of people, some on their (sony erikson era) mobiles, and approaching sirens. I was already stoned, so didn't want to stick around to be interviewed by cops, so we took off to the barbie

Did they deploy a stinger on him and he went straight into the roundabout?

In the opening verse, Sir Mix-A-Lot professes his affinity for large buttocks and his inability to disguise this fact from others. He goes on to describe other desirable physical attributes such as a trim waistline, tight fitting garments, and unblemished skin. Though the song does not contain a distinct narrative, the author does visit upon recurrent themes such as female body image as depicted in media, male attitudes towards dating and relationships, and the author’s own sexual prowess.
In later verses he expresses his exasperation with the entertainment industry’s portrayal of the ideal female form. He soundly rejects the notion promulgated by fashion magazines that diminutive buttocks are more desirable. His critique of the women that appeared in contemporary music videos is particularly scathing, likening their appearance to those of prostitutes. To further illustrate his point, he stipulates the purported ideal proportions of 36-24-36 (measuring the bust, waist, and hip circumferences respectively) would only be pleasing on women with a standing height no greater than 63 inches.
Mix-A-Lot also briefly touches upon the roles that ethnicity, nutrition, and physical fitness play in determining the shape and size of the female buttocks. He recommends that any exercises performed should be limited to the abdominal area. He cautions against a fitness routine strenuous enough to diminish the heft of the gluteal muscles. Though he offers no broad dietary guidelines, Mix-A-Lot contends that the dish "red beans and rice" is an important food staple for maintaining a healthy buttocks.
Various lyrics address the fact that some men find no intrinsic value in large buttocks and consequently express disinterest. Mix-A-Lot makes clear that he would eagerly strike up relations with any woman overlooked or discarded by such men. The remainder of the narrative is fleshed out with the author's various attempts to entice women into enjoying a ride in his luxury automobile, presumably in exchange for sexual favors. Hand animated. No simulation. No motion capture. No BS. I used tto work in games, I tend to do kids TV now when I can get work. There is a serious problem with cg animation being mistaken for AI.
AI is a very real worry for me and other animators like me. Please don't mistake what takes me hours to do for AI.

I think we all need some kind of label denoting no-ai content, and maybe some kind of CC stating we don't want our stuff scraped by thieving algorithms.

Do you have a youtube channel or a link so I can have a listen?
My short film basically has AI as the villain trying to brain wash and infiltrate the organic. But I made her and animated her. I am fairly old school and was trained to animate on paper just as 2d was dying.

'Completely unpredictable' twist at the end where it turns out that the bloke is basically Tyler Durden fighting with two aspects of his own psyche. Blows absolutely everyone's minds and we get endless 'reaction' videos on social media about how amazing and unique a concept it was and how nobody saw it coming.

- seems appropriate.
Back in the 80s we* were listening to nihilistic apocalyptic lyrics, anticipating nuclear winter and / or corporate nationalism.
With a brief hiccup of rainbows and liberation, we're living in the backlash again. MadMax seems more probable than Starfleet.
* well, i was anyway

I created a programme that could be used to make text adventures, and my understanding is that the best way to test it is to see if it can run Doom. Great news, it sort of can. E1M1: A Text Adventure is the result. An FPS of the imagination that runs in a browser, only uses the mouse and textually simulates the first map of Doom.
Play it here: E1M1: A Text Adventure.
