Because once you’ve had the idea, you have to do it.
I’m very hopeful of success: as I understand it, under broadcasting impartiality rules the BBC have to give this an airing every time they play a record by Gary Barlow.

that like the country, the board is at one mind on every major issue. We can't even start a proper row about the CaC Cats are Great issue anymore.
How I wish I'd lived in a different time - one with global financial crisis, the rise of nationalist populism and an ever present Stalinist threat.
People will boringly focus on minor quibbles over production values.

- granted, some cnuts in the Labour high command are Stalinists, but they're by no means the majority, and Labour's policies are by no means Stalinist.
Just as the Conservatives have a bunch of racist fuckers lurking amongst them, Labour have a few blinkered twats.
What we want to hope for is that the twats don't end up in charge.

Then when everyone found out he dropped her because she was just as far as he is concered a slag. This has annoyed her somewhat.
The story is he paid for it with public money.

It's about alleged misconduct in public office by the Mayor of London, who just so happens to be Prime Minister now. The misconduct wasn't done by a PM or the PM office.

But these have limited effect...
I was recently on ship where they opened a dredging pump (16 tons of iron and steel) to replace a damaged water seal.
Cue to people strolling under said pump held by a single wire on a rolling ship...
So yeah, they saved a few minutes risking getting squashed under the watchful of the Chief.
And we had had a death on another ship not 6 months before.
Idiots.

But joke aside, the level of lack of common sense basic survival instinct is really impressive.
The company that fired me did not even allow me to do a proper exit interview because they know I do things properly...
They do not want dire safety stuff recorded in black and white in the minutes of a meeting, so when people will die, they can profess ignorance.
I have no ill feelings to them, but I have friends working there, and I don't want them to roast in a Piper Alpha mess.

I recorded the same sort of noise in a forest in the highlands. Turns out it was some sled dogs 2 miles away, but by the time the sound had reverberated itself through 2 miles of forest it was pretty similar to that. Scared the hell out of me as I was on my own at 5am doing field recordings.

Unless the sweet bird of sarcasm is flying high over my head, you've lost the plot.
It's an entirely Brexit election so Corbyn has doubled down on being mental with risible policy commitments that even he doesn;t believe.
As an old skool tankie, he is an accelerationist - He (like Farage and Tice and Banks for different reasons) wants the UK fucked so the people revolt.
He doesn't have any expectation of holding two thirds of his seats.. He is going down in flames as a glorious red martyr and hoping the Overton envelope has been widened enough so that when we 'ok boomer' gammon types are dead, these ideas will become credible again.
THis is politics as stupid and dangerous as anything the Yaxley-Lennon wanks have come up with. And in many ways is the same - free stuff for good people taken from baddies.
When has that ever gone well?
(, Sat 16 Nov 2019, 0:16, Reply)
Nope. I'm an honest one nation conviction Tory.that hates Brexit. But as a financial journalist, I know how this stuff works. It's a joke. They don't believe it themselves.
