On seeing those fireworks pics and talk of filters i thought at first they were the result of a photoshop flter. The ni remembered the noisy party earlier and promise of pics.

I;'v ebeen up since 5am so i cant be botherd correcting my typing at the moment.

The colour screen from the Rainbow is still my favourite Amiga monitor 'cos it hummuses just nicely! No chance of selling but if I come across one in better nick than mine you can have the old one.
BTW, the RX50 floppy drive was v.successful and used in several other PDP, Professional and MicroVAX products....

I had the green screen monitor, twin floppies and a 10MB HDD. I used it for graphics stuff, displaying on a BBC Micro( code in the advanced user guide for the beeb, well, about 10% of what you actually need ).
Can you remember what the killer app was that shipped with it that allowed you to create a document that contained spreadsheet cells, charted info and formatted text?, when that was combined with the superb keyboard it really is a wonder that the IBM PC took off at all.
I am now kicking myself ( metaphorically ) for getting rid of it.

Arseburgers....the stuff that could do that on PDPs was called AtoZ but AFAIK it didn't get onto the Rainbows. I have just added 1 gallon of used engine oil. Although still grey, it now has an interesting blue tinge to it, and little streamers of carbon are falling all around.

the only other twin cart machine I've seen is the toshiba....for the record, you could get a keyboard for the atari vcs that had basic, and you could also get rom extenders that allowed up to 10 different carts to be in place all at the same time </geek>
