I find your tutorials well written and helpful, I'll be sure to give this one a go.
Edit: I'd really love to see a tutorial on flash animating stick men... tried a few times but it usually ends up looking like the special olympics.

Like the highlights bit - this makes such a difference than if using flat colours.
Anyone using an old copy of Flash (minus updated drawing tools) can copy (as vector) from fireworks, then paste into Flash.

However, Flash isn't really an Illustration program although you can use it as such and is more for animation, and while Illustrator can be used for animation it isn't as easy to animate in as in Flash - so it's all swings and roundabouts in the end.
