NSFW is something that looks like porn from the perspective of your boss looking over your shoulder. Someone in swimming costume is more NSFW than that

I recently (on a whim) just re-read The Rats by James Herbert (no idea why to be honest)
it would make a great 2-3 part BBC Series

I haven't read that for years, but yes, with the kind of budget that they chucked at triffids, it could work really well.

aye. it's got some nice set-pieces, and they 'could' do a decent job of rendering the Rats too.
the triffids was a big ol' letdown :(

They killed it for me early on
With the change on the cause of the blindness. It runined any chance of suspense of disbelief. Trying to peddle the idea that virtually every man, woman and child on earth, regardles of location, was looking at the sky at the exact moment of the flash... pft.
At least in the orignal it was plausable that people would have at least had a quick look at the meteor shower.

I'm just trying to find out if he misread what I put
like I was having a go at people photoshopping, when what I thought I clearly said was that I imagine some people will just do screen grabs of the film and post them, seeing as it encapsulated the theme of this weeks challenge so succenctly.
(HappyToastGroat froth,

In that case he assumed (as did I) that you meant it in a critical manner
(0800221155Coldseal windows,

but barry's picture isn't a screengrab from the film?
I'm very confused. On seeing Barry's picture I commented on how Watchmen would be an easy source for simple screen grabs or unshopped pictures found on the internet due to its opening sequence. And from that I was being critical of Barry?
(HappyToastGroat froth,
Thu 4 Mar 2010, 11:07,

It was judgemental, condescending criticism for anyone thinking of using a screengrab from Watchmen.
You may as well have said "I wonder how many people won't post stuff as good as mine."
(Je suis un vagabondis an unfunny, up your own arse middle class knob,

fuck off did I!
If you think that of me then thats your call. You clearly think I'm some kind of cunt and no amount of reasoning on my behalf is going to change that. It was condescending of anyone simply posting an unshopped/unaltered image that they found off the net yes, same as anyone on here is when they ask "is that shopped?" But bollocks was I being superior in any way. Seriously mate, we've been through this before, you don't like me so just put me on ignore and save me the drawn out trying to get to the bottom of things.
(HappyToastGroat froth,

You might not have meant it like that
but it can be interpreted as such, and it's a touchy subject to some. Chill.

Its not personal. I think you're a good artist.
But being condescending through speculation seems a bit ... well ... pointless at best, and judgemental:
"I wonder how many people today are going to be idiots?"
But if you fancy putting me on ignore, feel free.
