Been working on my website lately, and I'm particularly happy with this animation.
Click for more
It's a showcase for a series of stories I'm writing, and this particular image is the representation I use for any given universe within the multiverse I'm creating.
The idea is that each universe has values within it that determine its hex colour, and it's different depending on each story that's told.
Some stories take place in the same universe/timeline but most don't.
I just find this animation really relaxing!
It's composed of 5 fibonacci spirals rotating anticlockwise while 8 fibonacci spirals rotate clockwise.
Created it in Illustrator & After Effects, then ported into Photoshop to make this gif.
The full SWF is available on various pages on the site (linked) as well as other material.
It might take a while to fully load but to be honest it's hardly noticeable because it moves so slowly anyway.
Tip 1: 000000 and FFFFFF are empty at the moment, still working on those.
Tip 2: 005183 has sound on it. That one's 3 across and 1 down.
