Woman shows off new yellow rug but people say it looks like a Greggs steak bake

A woman who purchased a new yellow rug had no idea it looked like a savoury Greggs treat until she shared it to Facebook
( , Mon 29 Jun 2020, 17:50, Reply)

Steak Bakes are similar in appearance to the rug owned by that woman, whose birthday is November 10th.

The rug of the woman, when compared to a Steak Bake, features several similarities, the rug.
You're not wrong.

just makes me want to make my own steak bake.
Since lockdown started I can now make most of the things I used to get from a takeaway for 1/4th the price.
They taste better and I know what went into them too. No monohydroglycerides of fatty acids mixed with guar gum to save 0.2 pennies per unit...

an easy way to get your brain addicted to crap food. Put in some artificial fat/salt/sugar combo that your brain finds as addictive as crack then add it to everything.
It is what McDonalds does.
And it is, in a strange and very wrong way, delicious.

Last week I defended my PhD thesis.
Since pandemic guidelines prohibited a 'classic' defence (i.e. live-sweating, audience and canapés) and since I am bored with webinars, I tried to make it slightly less boring.
Also, being a doctor now, I will take every opportunity to check whomever's prostate. Regardless that the doctorate is in district heating.
(sorry for Vimeo; Youtube is eating my soul)
( , Mon 29 Jun 2020, 13:28, Reply)

I didn't even know there was such a thing as a doctorate in district heating.
Congratulations.

Were you told the tune requires minor corrections?
( , Mon 29 Jun 2020, 16:44, Reply)

Indeed, next project is to invent a time machine. I will go back in time and tell them not to record using a bale of straw (this version is even significantly de-noised).
Other tips on improvement is appreciated (I am a novice in Audacity).

Although tusen takk is Norwegian and I still hold a grudge for them leaving Denmark in 1814...

But I don't know any Danish, despite having played some of my favourite gigs in Aarhus and Forbrandingen in Copenhagen.
( , Tue 30 Jun 2020, 1:16, Reply)

And speaking of gigs: thanks for your posts in recent months - I have enjoyed several of them. Perhaps even unknowingly also been attending you playing live, during my younger days in Aarhus (where the electronics scene was quite decent in the 2000s at least).
Never been to Forbrændingen, but since it means "incineration plant" it relates well to my research in district heating...
( , Tue 30 Jun 2020, 9:50, Reply)

from Aarhus to Copenhagen, all the gigs were wonderful except for Copenhagen where the audience consisted of 12-13 year olds who all wanted banging techno (one kid got up on the stage and banged on the table to demonstrate, shouting "No! It should be like this!!"). And yes, we were surprised and disappointed how small the Little Mermaid is :) but I love the country and its (grown-up) people.

"Can anyone tell me what this plant is?" said the guy pointing at this huge bush with pretty leaves?
"People smoke these leaves..."
Ohhh...
Supposedly they have to count the leaves every so often. Supposedly

is that there was a character or mask called 'the penetrator', because I kept getting accosted by teachers for dashing around on the playground saying 'I am the penetrator!' and had no idea why, and they wouldn't explain it.
