Chas and Dog have exciting new release details.
I made this!
(People have recently accused Doginko of using Chasbo as a prop. Chasbo has stated for the record, that he has propped up Dog as a constant source of companionship, entertainment, food and shelter, but, it was, and this is the important bit, consensual)

yeah, that not an australian magpie
to be honest, I wouldn't expect to see too many Australian magpies in a Göteborg backyard, where this was filmed. What you have there is is a Eurasian Magpie, (Pika Pika) which though having broadly similar feather colouring, is a different species, genus, and indeed, family of birds.
Australian maggies are bigger, have evil red eyes, and delight in raking the eyes of passing cyclists with their talons

My apologies, I clicked the link and saw a NZ domain listed.
It does bear a passing resemblance to the flying demon that raked my helmet in Akaroa once when I was cycling, though.
I think you'll find the Eurasian Magpie's binomial name is Pica pica though.

The thing that most pisses me,
off about Seth Meyers is, the weird delivery where, he frequently runs out of breath while, talking in long sentences.
That and his shit eating grin and his show's terrible theme music.

i don't mind Seth. it was really interesting to watch the American hosts like Seth and Colbert during the lockdown. To start with they completely floundered without a laughing studio audience. the comedy didn't work, but hats off to them, they turned it around and became quite comfortable with the lack of captive audience. All that and constantly berating the orange shitgibbon, I think they do a pretty good job.

Without it, he's just a lesser late night Jimmie.
I think all the late night shows have benefited from a lack of studio audience. Less whooping, less embarrassing showboating, less bullshit and more focus on better writing and quality interviews.
Though of course for every worthy political pundit there are still 2 dozen celebrity cunt fawning sessions to skip through.

it isn't energy efficient.
you can mix bitcoins to obscure their source.
other cryptocurrencies are like bitcoin. It's just advocates of bitcoin want to keep bitcoin the standard of crypto to keep the price high.
It can be controlled by a few that own the majority of bitcoin (big mining syndicates/early investors with lots of cash to buy them).

As I understand it, which is very, very superficially,
these mixing/laundering/tumbling services are opt-in, and the only ones opting in to a money laundering service are shady people with awful stuff to hide. So your mix of coins may not come from or go to your hired goon directly, but from a cloud of other hired goons, drug dealers, organised criminals, pimps, slave-masters, Young Conservatives, Islamofascists, etc, each with their own dirty blockchain trail leading back to potentially worse crimes than the one you're trying to hide.
Also, as I understand it, which is a very shallow understanding, using these kinds of services is a great way to attract the attention of GCHQ.

"contrary to popular belief bitcoin is energy efficient, it actually comes from 70% renewable energy"
yeah, he doesn't understand what 'energy efficient' means. currently bitcoin mining alone uses 0.21% of world energy use, or the about the output of 7 large nuclear power stations (66.7 terawatt-hours per year). the 70% renewable he quotes is not from scientific research, but a dubious claim by Coinshares, a trading site, that contradicts better research that estimates it's already costing 22.9 million metric tons of CO2 per year, the output of a medium sized country. And due to its nature, the processing power needed increases as it reaches its end game, so this figure will rise

Pure distilled unpretentios fun. There was a whole fucking cultural revolution off the back of this music (and a few pills). That revolution was just as significant as the whole swinging 60's. The BBC comments boards seem to be dominated by people who dislike the BBC.
Whinging and whining, bitching and kvetching about watching the BBC shows they are disappointed by, then being annoyed when they watch them again.
Old neurotics never die, they just get lost in the comments.
