Wizz Jones, one of the godfathers of the british folk blues scene, died this week
I'm mates with his son Simeon, a great sax/harp player, who's been posting a lot of cool in memorium pics of a pretty unconventional (and a little fucked-up) upbringing of living out of a kombi following festivals around europe. Saw Wizz and Simeon play together in london quite a few times, always a good gig, though quite a few bus passes amongst his loyal fanbase

Last time I looked the UK nearly had it going. They have a reactor that runs for more than a millisecond, produces more than it consumes. It should be used to bargain with the EU and US. That was a year, or so, ago.
What then? Fusion energy for all: Helium naturally leaves the earth's atmosphere, If we don't figure out fusion shortly, the helium will be gone, there are other ways to fill balloons and reactors.

I've stopped caring.
By my view, it was finished a long time ago, and we should be seeing video of it racing now. The fact it isn't, to me, means they have no plans to ever finish it, just milk it for that sweet Patreon money as long as possible.

It's not so much the sample, most rappers make a living sponging off other people's creativity with their high school verse over the top, so snoops no worse. It's more Petty appearing in the video like it's a collaboration, when he would have never lowered himself to do that when he was alive.
