I don’t particularly want to speak on behalf of someone else but
I just got the impression it stopped being fun for her. (And she lost her original login details, so was on a different username)
By all means correct me if I’m wrong, as I say it’s just my impression of things.

I only have vague recollections, to be honest.
I think I remember some unhinged right-wing rants, but I can't recall exactly what about. It's entirely possible that I'm wrong and/or confusing her with someone else.

Ivory Coast King to order procession of naked women to ward off coronavirus
Blue sky thinking. This is exactly the sort of thing I would propose should I be given royal powers.
“The king can order women to perform the ‘adjalou’ — a procession through the village to protect the people.
“During Adjalou, these women are naked and we confine men and children in their homes,” he said.
“The women erect barricades at the entrance of villages to prevent bad spirits from entering and claiming lives.”

There are a number of factors at play.
Your example above is a UNC format path, which doesn't exhibit the problem, but trying to write to that using a DOS style path (which is often the default) will cause issues, even using the command line and on standard Windows 10.

I think the limit is in File Explorer which does complain where CMD or PowerShell or Git Bash don't
