But things are not going as well as planned.
After at least 25 years of shouting and arguing, finally, 2 weeks before my wedding, my parents have decided to break up. Can you believe that? It gets better. For the first 2 days, they decided it was a family problem and I had to sit through their shouting and tell who I thought was right, until I got fed up and told them to solve their problems like adults.
Now they are all "sorry for doing this right now" and all that stuff, but I know them, and I can´t believe they couldn´t wait 2 more weeks to explode.
Of course, they say they´re going to wait until after the wedding to make it official. And of course, I know they´ll never make it official, as I´ve seen this many times.
Now they´re behaving as if they´d never been more in love, doing everything together and talking sweet to each other. But when I´m on my own with one of them, the tears and complaints start again.
So, a question... well... tell me about people having a really bad timing. What did they do and why did it annoy you so much?
Alt Q.: Was Doctor Who Christmas Special any good? No spoilers! I´ll watch it tonight!

What would everyone, in an ideal world, like under their tree tomorrow?
Personally, Jake Gyllenhaal and a crate of vodka would do me.

because I refuse to talk about how much I'm working over Christmas.
Right this time I'm actually asking for news links, my mate's a teacher and he wants examples of over exageration in the media about "broken Britain" and crime levels and stuff. Link me up bitch.
Also do you want to hear my hilarious offtopic christmas joke?

I'll be honest with you, I intend to do very little.
My mother's dropped most of her glasses, so after work I have to get some cheap flutes for Chrimbo Buck's Fizz. I have to get them home on foot in the ice.

and it made me laugh my ass off.
Hope you lot are coping ok with the weather over there....we've had horrendous rain causing all kinds of problems with flooding and stuff (and Californians cannot drive in inclement weather). Makes me laugh that we've had rain for 6 days straight, and people are moaning about it. The sun is literally coming out tomorrow.
Alt Q - there was a film I watched as a kid that I really want to see again.....all i remember is the kids were in an orphanage, and it only rained once every 20 years or something, and the one day the sun came out the orphans locked another girl in a broom cupboard. Any ideas what film it was?
