At work.
Weekend of being a complete lazy arse as I felt like I hadn't had a day of doing nothing since my holiay in September.
I did go to see 'In Time' though. Which is basically 'Bonnie and Clyde At The Adjustment Bureau'. Mindless near future sci fi with ideas above it's station, but Cillian Murphy made it just about enjoyable.

It's possible I suppose,
but I guess the only conclusive way to prove it would be to have your wife move it back upstairs on a night you don't know about, and seeing if you sleep poorly then. If it is effecting your sleep then I guess the logical thing to do is keep it downstairs?

Our house is 3 storey so the logical place to put it was on the middle floor

From day one the Pistols were completely honest about being after cash rather than principles. See the Grundy footage, for example. My flat has some really weird things about it, at least twice a week I wake up and walk around the flat convinced there is someone there.
Things go moving and missing, but in terms of today's weirdness, there was a kitchen towel sheet on the table where my printer is. It was raped up perfectly neet. "Hmm, that's strange, I don't remember ever doing that" so I went to pick it up and put it in the bin, and it felt like there was something in there. So I opened t up, and inside there is a square tea bag.
Now, everyone who knows me knows that there is no way I would perfectly wrap a kitchen towel (I'd scrunch it up or bin it, and it would never go on the printer table), let alone put a tea-bag in it.
I have no idea where it's come from, I'd take a lie-detector to say I didn't do it myself, and nobody has been over for a weeks now, and I've cleaned the flat twice since then.

I went to a friends to watch a film,
went down to london for dinner
went to the pub to play pool.
In between I was playing Skyrim, or "rimming" as I'm sure people will call it.

I can't afford either.
Is it good?

Not sure, run the system test in Steam and look at the specs
Apparently it's not too bad if you can play oblivion at all you should be able to play it but it'll have long load times.
It's really good so far, tough though.

Oooo, I might try this when I'm at home later
Oblivion runs absolutely fine, but I think my graphics card is below the minimum spec required.

Ah that could be a problem, it might not even bother trying if your gfx card isn't supported.

I got an unusual amount of exercise at the weekend
from a day spent walking about and my legs have been completely seized up for two solid days.
I think this might mean I'm a little out of shape.

Morning all
A fun-packed weekend was had, with the highlights being: Saturday night watched three guitarists perform, each of which were better than me, the most humbling of which was the one who was only 17. Bastard.
Sunday night involved having my parents round for a massive feast of Indian food. Unfortunately this has left me in the awkward position this morning of being maybe one ill-advised parp away from papping my pants.

my birthday weekend was great
but my dad was taken to a & e with severe chest pains this morning. don't think it can possibly be his heart, as his bupa check-up last month said that he had the heart of a 30 year old, which isn't bad for someone who is 68. but they are looking for blood clots or stuff on his lungs.
argh. i am a sad and distracted swipe this morning...

If he's been checked over recently
then it is unlikely to be his heart, and anything else desperately serious they would probably have picked up then, too.
Best of luck - I am sure he will be fine though.
