Everyone hates Christmas
I just waited half an hour until the other two women in my office had gone out so I wouldn't have to make them a brew. I hate the brew rotation, no one makes it how I like it and I have to make loads whenever I want one. What do you hate doing at work that's not actually work related?

Alternatively: what's the worst thing you've ever eaten? I've eaten shark, it was disgusting.

EDIT: Oh BGB no! I stepped on you, I'm so sorry.

I can't do fizzy either. Fizzy upset me. Wiggy always gets pick and mix at the cinema and puts all the fizzy sweets on top so I can't steal.

Probably pie and mash from Manzies
it was the blandest food I've ever tasted and I haven't a clue what was in the pie.

I've had shark-fin soup and that was a disappointment, not disgusting, just a bit underwhelming, expensive and ethically dubious.
(, Tue 28 Sep 2010, 13:38, Reply)
I had an actual shark chunk. It tasted like off tuna
something to do with the ammonia in their skin. It was years ago on my dad's ship, but it's still a bit ethically questionable.
(, Tue 28 Sep 2010, 13:42, Reply)
I've had shark and it was alright
not as nice as tuna or marlin though, but nicer than swordfish

you're not
I can't eat a sandwich made with a knife that has touched cucumber, can't eat something that has had cucumber in it that has subsequently been removed.

Curiously though, I love pickled gherkins

maybe something has to be a certain amount of vileness before you'll eat it
maybe you don't like cucumber because it's not bitter and disgusting enough.

But he thinks it is bitter and disgusting
It's just us normal people who find it bland and cucumbery

just really vile. Doesn't taste like anything else I can think of.

From that stupid fucking Milk advert with the scouse lads. Cockend.

Alt Q: Liver. Ugh blech *vomits*
(, Tue 28 Sep 2010, 13:44, Reply)
That's pretty annoying.
I hate bland pleasantries at work. I just hate small talk in general. I hate when people say "hi, y'alright?" as they walk into the next room. I don't answer and they don't care or even notice. And if I say hi back (without any question regarding their health) they'll retort with "yeah not bad" even when I haven't asked the fucking question.

I hate discussing the weather, payday, what I did at the weekend and how expensive things are nowadays.

BLAND PLEASANTRIES ARE POINTLESS!
(, Tue 28 Sep 2010, 13:47, Reply)
The rule on pleasantries here are simple
If you're speaking to a lad, it must contain at least one swearword.
If you're speaking to a woman, she should be honoured that you dare to lower yourself to her level, and speak to her without spitting on her first. Also, you can't swear at them. Wusses.
(, Tue 28 Sep 2010, 13:49, Reply)
And if you're speaking to a woman
You shouldn't stare at her tits.

Better to look her straight in the eye, until she looks away, then glance down

I like Christmas
It's happy, and colorful, and makes the cold a bit more bearable. And it means 2 weeks off work in Tenerife, with family and friends, eating good food and drinking. I don't understand what's wrong with it.

The worst thing I've ever had... well... The only food I hate are artichokes. And the sauce of the callos (beef belly). Anything spicy I don't like, really.

Ah! And hello, BFF! Did you have a good time?

Hello!
Yes thanks. We did the volcano thing like you suggested, it was beautiful. We didn't get to go all the way to the top because of the permit requirement but we got to the sight-seeing tower thingy.

Andouillette. By a country mile.
Some of you may know that I fucking LOVE sausages (don't bother with the strikethroughs) and plan to write a book on them - but andouilette is the rankest, most stomach-churning piece of filth ever to pass my lips.

Smells literally like shit and tastes exactly how one might imagine shit to taste like, too.

Just can't do it.
I used to love pate as well (don't know how to do accents) Offal in general just doesnt appeal.
