Er excuse me, can we all just get onboard and agree to capitalise black for some fucking reason? Fucks sake, is a minor linguistic change that unbalances the whole system too much to ask? Next someone's going to make a race-based assumption about sexual preference for sweet, sweet fat asses.

pretty sure I remember playing it
It might have been glamourous in the late 80s, now it has the looks of a place whose best days are behind it. It's basically the closest shopping mall for latin americans to get cheap flatscreens from bestbuy, hasn't been hip in a while. Even the gays are avoiding it, going up to fort lauderdale. Odd choice to revisit and push the miami vice angle, but I guess there's still plenty of crime there
( , Thu 8 May 2025, 6:36, Reply)

I think I played it before visiting the first time, which gave me a vague deja vu about the layout. Would have been nice for them to pick a new place, but I guess GTA Cleveland wouldn't sell as many units

I like how it gives Mugs some depth and a view of how energy and imagination in kids can also escalate into making little things a big deal to them.
It's very much in character as Mugs tends to creatively over-think his daily experiences and vent frustrations through his art.

that zucker/abrahams schtick has been on an increasing tired downhill slide for decades, after the days of Airplane! Top Secret and Naked Gun.
My guess is that there'll be a few mediocre pastiches of modern cop/crime shows, but it'll mostly be callbacks to the previous movies relying on sentimentally to mask the lack of coming up with new jokes.
( , Mon 5 May 2025, 4:17, Reply)

On the non-comedy front, The Man From UNCLE remake/prequel was also great, and superbly cast.

I think it's because Carrell made it more his own. The don adams smart was cocky but knew when he was always stuffing up and the humour was him carrying on anyway. Carrel was more an oblivious mr bean like take on smart.
Martin was just doing a bad sellers impression, and it looks like Neeson is just doing a Nielson. All it does is make you wish for the original, instead it's like an SNL sketch. I don't know, the preview isn't much to go on. maybe it wont be predictably disappointing

You perhaps think your unsolicited interjections hit some imagined target you masturbate over, or simply do it to impress your online friends.
I'm 51. It's tiring to see this from folk who may also be my age or older.
I'm simply having a laugh with my mate. Criticism is fine. I also don't want a world where AI replaces genuine artistic endeavours.
But don't bully my mate or say things like he has no backbone and spread lies that we're both the same person.

I told him not to show you the final thing. And you've been avoiding my calls and whatsapps for ages. Probably because you still owe me that £540! Any sign of that?
You didn't see it was already posted here and then taken down and you can hardly claim it was 'I made this' when I did the lions' share of the work.
And you can't even post a you-tube link here properly! Hahahah!

Colour the hexes black or yellow to match the colour sum for that row. Different levels of difficultly for casual players and puzzle enthusiasts. Plus when you've completed it you've made a pretty pattern to sit back and admire. Guaranteed more fun than getting on with your work!

( , Fri 2 May 2025, 12:46, Reply)

That's actually really good. One you work out an opening there's a nice logical progression through to the solution.

Are they all guaranteed just a single solution?

I find Master extremely difficult, yet I know players who can solved it in under a minute. I believe there can sometimes (but not always) be more than one possible solution

( , Fri 2 May 2025, 21:49, Reply)

If the next GE reflects this result (unlikely but it's fun to imagine) we could have a lefty coalition with its minority partners demanding voting reform with opposition Deformists support. Once fptp is dead we could all start voting for who we actually want!
More likely, I think, the Tories remain toxic, Deform makes noise but only 20-30% of the vote, LDs remember how to campaign and take ~10 seats. Labour remain unpopular but can also effectively campaign and win a small majority, and so voting reform remains off the table.
