This is an early test for our new project, Dogs Dogs Dogs Dogs Dogs Dogs Dogs. More will follow soon!
We are mucking about with Unreal Engine, making a bunch of stupid dogs that we can control. It has become obvious during this process that we are as a result building a Dog Simulator, which we are calling Dog Simulator 9000, that we may well end up publishing in its own right. The dogs are great fun to just drive around.

This is where plague lives:

I've heard many stories of tourists returning with plague and being cured with antibiotics. I'm looking for plague deaths in the UK in modern times, but all I've found is an outbreak in Suffolk 1906-1918.

But low vaccine uptake results in a failure of herd immunity and a much higher infection rate. If vaccines guaranteed protection that would be fine, but they don't. It also seems reasonable to assume that higher infection rates would result in higher mutation rates and faster evolution of vaccine-resistant strains.
( , Wed 16 Jul 2025, 18:20, Reply)

and you don't get the vaccine for a year, so no kids are safe unless there's a good take-up rate.

I have a few creative and technical criticisms:
The plot seems AImless and disjointed. The jokes seem incidental and AImless, with some seeming incomplete or only partially told (bass fishing, for example).
The audio elements are not all animated, or alternatively, the sound effects describe events that do not occur visually. I get that they are classic samples, but references should make sense.
The audio quality of the different voice actors is jarringly disparate. If I were producing this I'd get the lady to re-record everything (hers is the least good quality mic, and her recording distorts several times), and I'd use filtering and other effects to lower the quality of the other actors' recordings to match hers. I'd then place the voices in an acoustic space designed to match the visuals.
May I presume to suggest your next project is first written, rewritten, then storyboarded, then re-rewritten and re-storyboarded, then record the audio, produce the audio, make an animatic storyboard, make any final changes, then animate.
Apologies for the blunt cuntiness. Congratulations on actually finishing and releasing something!
