iPad (1) starting from £330, grrr, but still, it's a bargin.
I love my iPad and want the new one, my plan was always to sale my old one and buy the new one each year; like I have done with my iPhones. Turns out, apple have loads of stock and is flogging it off cheap at the moment, a lot cheaper than I'm prepared to go down too.
But anyway, if you want a bargin, feel free to get a first hand one direct from apple for relative fuck-all money.

That's a bit tempting
I want one, but I'm a little scared that the new one that is inevitably on the way will be far better. Any hard facts about that yet?

Oh
Must have missed that. No increase in the screen resolution then? That's all I'd have been interested in for the new one.

I always said I'd wait for v2, but now it's here I'm still not sure.

I think, but could be wrong, that they've all dropped by £100.
My iPad is the best gadget I've bought, I use it every day, I only want the new one so it holds it's value year-on-year, but if it's not going to do that, then I'll keep and enjoy my current one and upgrade every 3 or 4 years and not count the old one as something that holds any true value.

aren't they just cheaper because A) there's a new model coming out soon and B) there will be another model released later in the year with further extras

Cheapest tablet on the market, like-for-like, £399 for the 32gb wifi = xoom @ £500.
They're both very very good tools, and the only reason I haven't switched to android is because work-wise I've invested so much in Apple.

Our little radio show premiers tonight: Leisure System radio!I made this!
Me and my friends run a little party called Leisure System at a club called Berghain in Berlin, which happens to have its monthly radio show from today on over at Hivemind.fm We focus on the things one could call "bass continuum" and from what i know, some of you are into that sound, somewhere between electronica, dubstep, idm, house, future hip hop and advanced sound in general. Tonight we have exklusive mixes by Machinedrum (http://soundcloud.com/machinedrum) and Lapalux (http://soundcloud.com/lapalux), next month even by DJ Rashad himself. my mate puzzle is hosting the show, I might be giggling in the background. Tune in! We are really excited! And, for anyone concerned, we'll be doing a party at Corsica Studios on the 1st of April with Chris Clark, Jimmy Edgar, Machinedrum, some other dudes... and me :)
9pm, wohooo!
Cheers!

'Comic God' Simon Bisley briefly talks about his work...
...and you get to watch him sketch a bit. I love Bisley's work so any inkling I get of how he works is a joy. Everyone else you may not want to bother. The questions are even in French. Merde.

I'd never seen HIM though! From HappyToast's comment I thought yet another hero was about to lose his tarnish but NO - he seems a thoroughly pleasant chap to me...
