I feel a bit broken today
What is the point of treating yourself to an extra 40 minutes in bed if you still feel absolutely knackered when you get up?

What pointless uses of your time have you been disappointed by the outcome of lately?

Alt Q - what exactly is baldmonkey on about?

Alt Alt Q - if you were Prime Minister, how would you make use of Britain's wastes of space? Things like Derby, Michael McIntyre, Radio 1

Forthcoming film thread
In an attempt to lift Ms Foxtrot out of the permenent funk of hopelessness associated with knowing me biblically, I took her to see Eat Pray Love the other night (synopsis; horrible cow breaks husband's heart, bores friends to tears by complaining about how unfulfilled she is, rewards self for this behaviour by taking a year off to travel the world, fin). She enjoyed it - I was much more excited by the trailer for Tron Legacy and one of those big cardboard stands that only appear in cinemas advertising

JACKASS 3D

What future cinematic releases have got you priapic with excitement?

Alt Q - what bands are exciting anyone of late? Since discovering that We7 isn't prohibited by work's firewall have just been listening to CombiChrist a lot. Any tips?

Good morning /OT
My beloved boss has decided that, as I work here late by myself, I should text him when I leave the office, so he knows I’m not dead on company property. It’s health and safety gone mad, but he probably wants the opportunity to have my leaking corpse removed before it stains the new carpets.

What dull and uninteresting rules do you have to follow at work / place of study, that just make your life that bit more of a burden?

Alt Q: I have a cold and a headache. Which remedy do you follow, that you know doesn’t work?

What have I missed over the last 6 months?

I'm wondering just how often drink driving goes on.
Through a marvellous display of my own muppetry, I just had to drive back into work, a round trip of some 60 miles. On just one half of this trip I saw six separate displays of erratic driving, one of which caused me to take evasive action, and two accidents. I am suspicious that i'm witnessing business types heading home from after-work drinkies. This wasn't some unpatrolled back road, either. It was the M25.

Seen any good/weird/scary driving recently?

Since alt questions are en vogue at the moment. Got any good telly recommendations? I'm thinking of buying a new one.

So the afternoon play on Radio 4 today was about
a blind man, a dwarf and a man with Down's syndrome climbing up the Blackpool Tower.

What would your sequel be?

*edit*
As in, who else could go where?

I put it to you that social networking has complicated relationships
I only just realised that whatever I update my status with on arsebook is now going to appear like it is to do with break-up and/or seem incredibly insensitive.

What would be the most inappropriate thing to have as a status for various tricky situations?

alt q: will gravy be nice on fishfingers?

Hello b3tans

I've changed jobs and am now encountering severely restricted b3ta access - any of you geniuses out there know of a good mirror so I can waste my time more constructively.
