What's going around your head??
Alt: What would you like to do right now that isn't normally done this time of year?
I'd like to go tanning and go swimming and club hopping at the beach. Too cold. Sad times.

I've had an eventful couple of days on here and as much fun as it's been I sometimes think I should be doing something more constuctive.
If there was no internet, what would you be doing right now?

As part of a general crack-down on drug use.
What would you stop tourists from doing in your new world order?

How's QOTW lately?
I haven't looked in months, but I can only assume it's the same high grade bullshit and pandering at big birds?
Using a shittometer, how shit is QOTW?
1 being moderately shitty, as in the lies are getting stale.
Or on the other hand a whopping TEN could be scored, if one of you is James Bond of the Internet, much similar to the regular James Bond but he plays World of Warcraft and sweats as he walks. No birds.

Not only did I sell my stained glass table, but the buyers have asked me to make them another one to go with it! I'm properly chuffed, I am!
(I even did a little victory dance in the grocery store after I got off the phone.)
What unexpected victories have you lot had recently?

I am two weeks in with my first ever 'tache. I have an interview next week and I'm a wee bit worried about how the presence of the 'tache will affect my chances in the interview.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still a strikingly handsome and suave man, but a moustache might give the wrong impression.
Any advice?
Alt Q- Dead Kennedys or Black Flag?

How are we all today?? I'm having a fab time here in Engerland. Today I went to the seaside and just about froze my tits off. I also dropped my bag in the mud when I slipped which was clever of me. But I've had a grand day. :)
If you haven't had a good day, why not??

I am most pleased.
I’ve just ordered my daughter’s Christmas present: a hand-made wooden castle with furniture and figurines. It’s reasonably girly so my ex can’t accuse me of trying to make my child into a tomboy but
a) it’s not plastic or vulgar and
b) it’s a fucking CASTLE, replete with turrets, drawbridge etc.
I’ve been fretting about what to buy her and this looks perfect. It’s also huge.
My question is: assuming she loves it, should I let her keep it at home where she’ll be able to play with it all the time or (selfishly?) keep it at mine so I get to enjoy her playtime with it?

I was stationary at a junction, they said the sun was in their eyes and they saw neither me or the junction but called their insurance company and admitted fault. I was only a passenger so no car for my to worry about but I am hurting lots.
Will I receive 100% of the compensation?
But in all seriousness this fucking hurts!
Have you been in a car accident? Was it your fault? Did you/they start a frivolous personal injury claim?

Alt Q: what is for breakfast?
(, Wed 17 Nov 2010, 9:11, 85 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
About a year ago I foolishly let a friend's daughter keep her car in my drive 'cos her tax had run out and she didn't have anywhere to keep it off road. It was only for a few a few weeks until she sorted herself out and got it taxed.
That was in March.
It's now November.
The agent for the house I'm currently renting has told me that the landlord has remarked to her that he doesn't want his houses being used as a scrap metal merchants.
I mentioned this to her/her father and they simply keep saying, "yeah, we'll move it at the weekend". That was 2 months ago.
I've just seen a comment on her facebook page that says "Fuk off, go to moanaboutthecaronthedrive.com".
So my question is:
Do I simply phone the scrappy and have them come and get it,
Wait for this magical weekend when they come and collect it.
or
Push it out in the street (they have the key so can't drive it) and set fire to it?

Yesterday I had a confrontation with one stupid person too full of himself and his little power to realise he was being abusive. Stupid ticket inspectors! Grrrr!
Today I haven't got a metro or anything else to read at the train, so I'm bored.
Prob it's too early for you to answer, but if you are there, can you cheer me up or at least entertain me?

I'm not utterly ravenous and could therefore cook something that took a while to be ready. I have a hob, a double ring griddle and grill, but no working oven and not a lot of money.
I'm a Libra and my hobbies are record collecting, playing guitar and history. Call me!
