So The Rolling Stones are headlining Glastonbury
Would that be a gig worth seeing? Or would it only be enlivened by one (or all) of them suffering an epic heart attack on stage? Any bands you want to see before you (or they) die? Ever been to a festival and been bitterly disappointed by a band you'd thought might be decent? I was shocked and appalled by the White Stripes at Glasto in 2005, I couldn't have been more bored if they'd just read out a phone book. Went and saw Punjabi Hit Squad playing to about a hundred people instead. They were fucking ace.

Alt: How is it possible for a film starring both Bruce Willis and The Rock to be shit? Well allow me to tell you! Don't, it's dull.

What am I going to do?
I have been off work for a fortnight with throat aids.

And it's almost the end of term where I will have another two weeks off holiday.

I need practical, real ideas to keep me busy.

I have had one immense idea which is to hard boil some real eggs, find a way to mold melted chocolate around the deshelled eggs and then wrap them in creme egg wrappers and give them to work colleagues upon my return.

Well,
this sounds like a delightfully lighthearted drinks reception that I have just been invited to...

"The screening will be followed by a panel discussion which will consider sexual assault in the UK military as well as a drinks reception at the end of the evening".

Or maybe it means the panel will consider their evening plans, which at the moment include sexual assault in the military and then drinkies.

How is everyone anyway? Miss me? Thought so.

No. You shut up.

Question? I said 'Miss me?' damnit. What more do you want?
(, Wed 27 Mar 2013, 16:02, 10 replies, latest was 12 years ago)

Predictably my facebook feed is now full of "Blame the owner not the dog!" posts
I am of the opinion that you'd have to be pretty naive not to realise that some breeds really should not be kept as pets.

Do you have any festival tips you could share?
