whoever suggested using some of my pulled pork to stuff a chicken breast
thanks! I did it this evening and it was lovely.

*Ctrl+F, Channel.... nope*
There's loads of people up in arms, wobbling about Channel 4 showing the call to prayer. Proper geninunely thick people.

I don't get their side of the story at all, they seem geniunly really upset by it. It's on at 3 in the morning for 5 minutes or whatever.

so the careless bastards at the shop had sold out of smooth orange juice AGAIN this morning
when i complained bitterly as i had to deal with a horrid multivitamin tropicana, the woman told me that they order THREE TIMES AS MANY SMOOTH ONES AS PULPY ONES AND STILL ALWAYS SELL OUT.

thus proving that nakers and i are totally correct. when were you last vindicated, or what was your last pointless victory?

alt: do you believe in anything like star signs/the occult/tarot? do you know anyone who does?

altalt: when is hometime?

this ship's sinking, there's only room for a small number of people on the lifeboat
why shouldn't you die?

enough about how racist we all secretly are deep down,
Organ Donors. Someone on the TV was saying that (i think it was in wales) they are going to start an opt-out of donation scheme, rather than opt in.
The only argument against it was from a priest or bishop or some such who said it would be unfair, and that what if someone had died and the family didnt like the idea of donation? The counter point being of course, well, if the person cared enough, they'd opt out.
Anyway, What do you reckon?

Alt: A friend of mine recently donated a kidney, the trade off being that in the future, if he or a family member need an organ, they would get a bump up the list, would you?

altalt: Offal? Tasty or horrid?

altaltalt: I love you.

when was the last time you had to explain why what you said isnt actually racist?

What do you know nothing about?
We've witnessed a spectacular display of ignorance from Chompy in the last thread. What do you claim to know about that you don't?

What don't you understand? Me; electricity = witch craft. Successful marriages; a mystery.

Demonstrate your ignorance.

alright gaylords
LBC this morning is going on about how in Tower Hamlets only one in four primary school children speaks English at home. I remember when I raised this as a concern a year ago the board's resident liberal hand wringers decried this worrying as MASSIVE RACISM. When was the last time someone embarrassed themselves in front of you with a pathetic attempt to appear right on. Hopefully not since you were at college. I was not so lucky.

Alt: should we have to pay for these selfish and lazy parents who are neglecting their children in this way or perhaps their own communities should if not themselves. Self funded Jewish schools were set up in the early 1900s to help migrants escapism persecution. And these were genuine asylum seekers not benefit tourists. Just sayin

According to wikipedia...
Gideon Osbourne's 2013 has consisted of just the following two events:

1) In February 2013 the UK lost its AAA credit rating for the first time since 1978.
2) In April 2013 his government vehicle was incorrectly parked in a disabled parking bay

What two things sum up your 2013 so far?

Alt: When were you last caught red-handed, bang to rights, guilty as charged with your metaphorical pants down?

Altalt: I heard tell you could get frozen bags of precooked spicy chicken wings that you heated up in the microwave. I put it to you that piping-hot slimy chicken skin does not appeal. What's the best use of a microwave?

Assuming we were going to be a total dictatorship, with just one person running the show, who'd you have?
I'd go for Brucie, apparently he was excellent at Glastonbury.
Not seen the Stones yet, bit rubbish? Worth watching?

death and taxes
so apparently we're spending £1M on the apartments at kensington palace and £100k on new toilets in the H of L. that's £100k for 2 new toilets. do we think this is right and proper? or should they be made to sell pics of the royal crotchfruit and scatvideos of peers shitting into a bucket to raise cash for their own house refurbs?

alt: meanwhile under the 13 years of labour, the rich/poor divide was apparently made bigger than ever. not exactly in their manifesto. who else should delete their account and kill themselves?

altalt: best pun you've ever heard?

hiya kids!
Good/bad/indifferent weekend? What's on for your week ahead?

I went to an all night rockabilly night on Saturday, that was good. What was less good was coughing up blood yesterday

i'm off to m&s to get picnic fodder and ingredients for starches and carbs and cheese in flavoured mayonnaises masquerading as salads. and hoping to blue crystal fuck that it doesn't rain.

what are you up to?

working at the weekend: necessary evil to get overtime/shift patterns/a lot more done? or a desperate evil that should never happen to anyone?

French in "snobby about food" shock
www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-23090455

If they did that here half the pubs in Britain would stop doing food. What truth in advertising law would you like to see?

Anyone seen swipey about?
Legally, how can I get the fucking neighbours to stop cooking a whole bulb of garlic and a sack of onions every other fucking day? It's proper reeked out my flat. Is there anything they can put with the stuff that won't make my flat smell like a sweaty italian's armpit?

I was thinking of changing the wifi hotspot name to "Fucking hell, garlic and onions again?".

Earphone Chat
I want some new earphones, some goodish ones, but with an in-built iphone controls/mic. I like the in-ear ones because I can take one ear out without taking out the other, and I can put them in my pocket nice'n'easy.

Any recomendations?

Are you a "spend it on the first weekend/day" kind of person or, like YM, can you make it last ages?

Friday lunchtime: Pub or Pub?

Yo People.
So Wimbledon, Silverstone and Glastonbury all on over the same weekend
So it’s bound to piss it down all weekend, so what are great indoor activities or what would you suggest visiting to get out of the rain?

Alt: 4/7 :(
