The Big Fat Leeds Bash for Chick's Birthday

I shall be turning the ripe old age of 20 on September 3rd, and to celebrate I shall be having drinks around Leeds. Come. Enjoy
Floorspace will be available. I'll find out how much when I move in, but it'll probably be lots. If I have more people signed up for space than actual space, it'll be done in terms of who has put me up for bashes before. Moocow_byter also has limited crash space.

The Angel Inn, Angel Inn Yard, Leeds LS1 6LN.

It's in the city centre (just opposite HMV on Lands Lane, near The Headrow) and seems to be like Chequers in Oxford. I shall investigate it at some point.

it's very much like Chequers - if you want to re-create the atmosphere of classic Oxbashes, this is the place to do it! Plus, the drinks are pretty cheap.

Would love to, and it's one of my fave pubs, albeit oddly positioned

I advise newcomers to look down the alleyways between shops (on the same side as the M&S front on the main square, but further up after the electrical goods store) to find it, that there is a bar upstairs that is generally quieter than the lower one, and the outside area tho nice and spacious and cool, can get a tad scary towards the end of the evening as drunk fuckwits use it as a thru way to redneck land and get very objectional to the 'bloody students' even tho most of us aren't.

But sorry, I cannot attend, a mate has decided last minute he's throwing a surprise party for his partner tonight, and I must be there to provide much needed wit and my amazing ability to stay conscious thoughout.
