Worth a watch, it's fairly sympathetic considering they're all total fucking mentalists. The bits where they're doing the experiments to prove the earth is flat are brilliant.

There's also a bit where you see that the industry these guys have built up around them, even though it's all clearly bollocks to everyone, means they just have to keep saying more outlandish shit all the time or else it's back to flipping burgers.

This is a normal post Oh, found it.
Thirteen paragraphs in. Perhaps useless isn't the most appropriate term, but let's be honest, they're beginning to follow a format somewhat more associated with the tabloids than the fine upstanding leftist Journalism the paper was known for a decade or two ago, aren't they?

This is a normal post They sacked a load of experienced writers and researchers
as well as other specialists deemed out of place in the cosmic digital multispatial social media lounge.

You've always had to read Guardian articles backwards though, that's nothing new.

The stuff they do well is political gossip/scandals, and political campaigning. Everything else is woolly, vague, and probably secretly sponsored by Apple.
(, Sat 1 Aug 2020, 22:20, Reply)
This is a normal post Not really, no.
You didn't properly read the article before you commented. That's why journalism is so shit these days. People can't be arsed to read articles anyway, so why spend time writing them.
The essence of the article is not about explaining what a brushing scam is, but the potential biosecurity risc involved with this particular one.

This week, 90 years ago, a British airship flew from the Uk to Canada. It was the biggest sky vessel at the time. This guy has a shed packed with memorabilia of the airship industry in the Uk, and has worked on it all his life. An interview was made with him, and then to bring it to live, it was animated.
